I hate Leilua. Has single handedly killed me in this comp with about 20 points in 3 games since I bought him in. It is easily the worst trade I have made in 10 years of playing fantasy. It would have been better if he injured himself in first game I bought him in. The deadshit just isn't putting in at all for his team.

ditto for some reason he has turned into a plank of wood out there, that trade has cost me hundreds of points at this stage

finished on 966 which im pretty damn happy about though, BJ crushing dreams again though

looking at getting out Fusi out this week and will probs have to get rid T turbo too

I'm on 817 with Cotric, Mitchell and Norman to go. Need a big one from Mitchell to make up for my other 2 fullbacks (Tedesco and RTS).

cheers mate, very good score yourself

Sitting on 885. Crap end to a promising start this weekend

Traded in Nathan Brown for Yates this week. At least I didn't get norman.

I went from Dylan Walker to Manu Ma'u recently. Even with Walker's 9 this week I'm not sure the move paid off

Yeah and he has lost us 150K.

I think this has to be the worst fantasy output I have ever seen for any play over three full 80 mins performances.

    240 mins = + 22 points

Only scored 885 this week, but still managed to climb 1 rank to 20th

If I'd brought in Surgess instead of Nathan Brown I'd be 10th. Will have to get him in this week, because his price is only going up before the byes come

Thankfully don't have Norman here so that's 1 less issue to worry about.

A lot of teams up the top have major injury issues with Trbo and Norman to deal with. I think that gives a real leg up for any team that doesn't have to deal with either one of those, and a massive leg up if you are lucky enough to avoid them both!!

Those teams with both those two guys are gonna have some really tough decisions to make this week because while there are quite a few cheap bye friendly players out there, I'd say those managers will have to forgo all of them in order to maximise their points from their 17. I'd say that will ultimately hurt their bye round totals.

And finally making a call on who to bring in for Norman (if you already have Walker) is gonna be really tough to I think.

What predicaments is everyone in this week?

I gotta deal with Norman, and will probably go Walker? Luckily I don't have to worry about Trbo (out 6 - 8 weeks I see).

    What's everyone else thinking?

I got lucky, I was contemplating in trading in before the round to bring in Norman or Munster. Went with the latter, phew!

I scored average this week 854, sitting in 161st but have been frugal with trades - I have 24 at the moment. Might use two this week, one will definitely be to cash out Faufusi for Brown.

I don't have Norman or TTurbo

Big question is how to bring Surgess in.

Secondary questions are to try and Bring James Graham in next week and work out if I want to hold Slater or ditch him before byes

My team is a car crash at the moment, just clinging on to top 20. At least I don't have Norman or Trbo although even with hindsight I wish I bought him over Leilua as I am trading out the turd anyway, never to be bought again. Would have had an extra 150 points, $100,000 and been in the top 5.

looking like slater's going to get that origin jersey so a definite sell imo missing those 5 games over the 8 weeks. With the amount of variance in the halves and backs scores, i couldn't justify the hold say you could with smith

myself already have 14 playing rd 12 so looking more at the later rounds this week. So Felise is going to tapau for a pod option (a gallen trade would make my rd 13 team very touoch and go). tommy is going for munster though croker does look a tastsy price and hoppa playing sunday's now makes him very tempting too, i've liked his work rate, very busy.

Leads me into a hayne-> fuiamano, wallace -> graham trade next week

norman trade- walker at Fb looks so good and with his like for like bye coverage i see him as the best option if you don't have him. Otherwise I'd rank SJ the no.2 trade target. If you have those 2 I'd probably consider a cash out. none of the other halves scream keeper to me playing rd 12. Pearce would be a good trade also but with his form, origin is looking likely.

ARey is the other half worth looking at - you could wait a week to see if he gets picked for Origin (I think Pearce is ahead of him) and that way you can ride a likely further price drop (high BE and playing against a Storm team bound to bounce back defensively).

Boy that Norman injury (and the Kaufusi benching) has thrown my bye planning all out the window... I'm now scrambling to make all the changes I feel I need to before round 12 starts (and I think I am actually in a pretty solid position already in terms of bye planning having accumulated a few of the mid-range/cheap bye friendly players already over the last few weeks). Im picking there are gonna be a number of people that are just gonna have to pass on a bunch of players that would otherwise have been of interest simply cause they only have a max of 5 trades to use between now and the rnd 12!

Anyone else having to make some pretty tough calls?

Nope, burgess in for fafusi and munster in for norman. Makes no net change to my round 12 but r13 is not too bad. Next week will bring in whatever r12 players that aren't injured like Jfriend, Fui, J graham etc.

Trade 1 for this week is CHN - Surgess

Not sure if holding CHN is worth the reward. Can make cash if he keeps his starting role but no guarantees that will happen, and doesn't play 12 or 15 so byes not ideal.

Need to free up some cash to make that happen which will probably be Talakai out (its either him or Luke Yates)

Shame CNK is HLF only in this comp. Can technically bring him in but it screws with my team pisitional balance.
Might be MWZ or Fuiamono instead.

If I bring in Fui that has me looking at 15 rd12 players, before next week's trades

Next week looking at ET - James Graham (hopefully without needing a downgrade to fund it)

After round 12 Tedesco is going to be at a very tempting price, origin or no origin.
And BJ Leilua is also going to be a popular trade in.

Keeping en eye on Mitch Moses but not sure he'll really work out - probably won't score high enough to be in my 17m and don't have the spare trades to gamble on him as a cash cow.
