He looked good last year and seemed to play bigger minutes during the second half of the season.

He averaged mid 40's in his last 3 games and is underpriced at the moment if he can keep that up.

    Thoughts??

    tamou wallace RCG
    cartwright merrin yeo

JFH Latu Peachey and then Rein/Browne or someone else.

don't see any panthers forwards as value?

    Welcome back JBG Very Happy

With Fifita, I know everyone would like him to start, but doesn't he normally start quite slow and drop coin?  2014/15 I'm pretty sure he did.  I didn't have him last year and haven't checked, but did he also drop money in the 1st month or so?  I could be wrong, anyone who started with him last year remember?

His first 5 round average last year was 56.8 with scores of 60, 45, 61, 54 and 64. He'll probably drop some cash but I like to just put him as a set and forget player. Round 1 team lists might mean I have to make some changes but I'll always try and prioritize fitting him in.

Better than I thought, but on that will lose some decent coin if we figure in his 2014 and 2015 starts. Does anyone have the points for those first 5 rounds (I haven't used your planner yet Milchy). I know those of us that started with Fifita in 2015 got arse fucked by Ennis because he wouldn't pass Fifi the fucking ball Crying or Very sad for a month and a half.

Milchy, yeah, understand he is a keeper, but I know I will have the cash to get him in early.

That's a good point, when I was looking at dual FRF/2RF players there is only 6 listed total Sad
Hopefully we get some updates on these when more players are added after squads get locked down

On Fifita, you either start with him or you get him after origin. Misses 5 of 8 games during origin.

Haha, was just about to say there has been a distinct lack of bye planning talk this year, included by me. Cheers for the heads up.

Hence why it will be a no brainer when/if McGuire gets named in the 13 to have him. Will help to have gun scores and DPP flexibility, plus he should improve with 5-7 more mins on average. Should push from 48 to 50-55 average.

KBrom average when starting in the second row was 40 so should be around 372k by round 9.
Whare is priced at 21 and averaged 32, 27 and 28 in his previous 3 years. A 30 average sees him make about 100k
Lamb is priced at 29 average despite his lowest score last year being 30. Averaged 37.7 last year with almost 0 attacking stats. Plenty of room for improvement. I would expect atleast a 35 average with upside to go 40+

Agree on Arrow he is just a place holder until team lists. If he looks like getting 30-35 minutes he will make money but not sure he is worth it if he gets a bench spot.

Not a chance am I running with my 3rd WFB likely to be dropped after two games with my two reserves unlikely to be named

Yeah, I agree, will all depend on cash cows come TLT as to how many mid rangers we roll with.

But what I will say is remember 2015, Coote and Bird weren't named round 1, they had been talked up all preseason and we all knew they would be great cows, except when they weren't named people just panicked and put Nabuli and Lee into there round 1 teams. Come round 3, Bird and Coote were named and everyone was scrambling to get them into their side. I'm going to go with my gut on a few cash cows, even if not named round 1, as I don't want to be stuck with too many midrangers doing sweet f*** all points or cash wise.

Capewell, Kelly, Scott and Stimson come to mind here. It won't be long before we see all four early in the season, even if not named round 1.

Scott Bolton may be another one.

He's primed to take Tamou's starting spot in the front row so he should get his DPP after the 4th game.

If Python isn't named come rd 1 (which is looking more and more likely) how many people will still run with him in their NPR's? I have seen a couple of articles stating that PMAT is first in line for the #1 gig.

Round 1 team lists will lead to DPP's getting added before round 1, so it is quite important in that sense as well. E.g. McGuire will get dual FRF/2RF before round 1 when named at 13.

This is different to during the season. A player will need to start and play 4 games to gain DPP during the season.

Greg Bird played lock last year and averaged 66 mins, having now left the club.

Chris McQueen averaged 72 mins on right edge

Zeb Taia averaged 78 mins on left edge

Proctor has come to the club and has averaged 70 mins at the storm.

Obviously Proctor takes McQueens spot on the right edge. Come to think of it McQueen might slot into lock but I doubt he will play all of Greg Birds minutes at lock.

Paasi is injured for the first 5 or 6 rounds possibly.

Luke Douglas has also left the Titans. He averaged 41 mins.

Come to think of it Wallace won't get the 13 jersey with Mcqueen/Taia there but he could be rotated through the lock position and get around 50 minutes, meaning a bump up to about 40 points from 31.

    Thanks, appreciate the feedback.

Doesn't he only miss 4? Even so I'll wait until after Origin and death ride the hell out of him. He'd have to be short odds for a suspension.

I guess Cartwright moving into the halves opened up a spot for him in the forwards which explains his increased minutes. Too many unknowns for mine.

Send him over to the tigers, we'll find a spot for him!!
