Yeah i play @welshy plays aswell and he was right up there a few years ago. Rooster Booster was another who was always keen. 3 pages pfft, i only posted here to get it to 3 posts

Im an SC'er too. Have to admit I enjoy the different format and the focus on attacking stats, makes quite a different game to the fantasy version, learnt that the hard way last year. Basically did the same type of trades i did in DT and fantasy but dropped from 1000 to 4000ish while going into the top 10 in the others!
reckon anyone gets perfect 8 this year?
I don't personally, looking at how many people got up to 6-7 right in a week (which was very few; i remember reading like 5 or 6 people got to 7 all last year) last year and if you extrapolate as a comparison to everyone playing who got to 7 right (among all rounds) and compared to the amount of entries; getting 7 seemed like a miracle.
problem was there was always some random average SC player who carved up for a round which 0% of people would have picked

ive always played supercoach , yes ive noticed its fantasy threads , first time but im keen , side looks good at the moment

Phythian + nuffie is too weak at fullback.
RTS is better value in SC than Fantasy. And if you don't like him then there are other guns better worth your money.

Yeah I filled in FB last and ran out of money. Ill have another chop when TLT hits.

Think K sims can be swapped for another low ranger and I'd change blake to talakai (if he's cheaper).
Also I think Ballin to Brailey is key. Should scrape enough to get RTS that way

I might have a crack at supercoach this year. not sure how committed i will be, so i wont join any long term leagues. There are some crazy scoring points like kick and regather? also the user interface feels ancient and clunky.
I cant just simply have a look at the players in a position without bringing up every single player in the game? unless i pretend to trade?
its gonna be tough playing this game after being so used to fantasy stats, tbs not worth as much, 40 trades! should be easy to make the final 17!
might slant my backs towards those who are likely to score tries if they are valued at 17points each, heres my first crack.

what are some of the key differences to regular fantasy that a newcomer should be aware of?
why is surgess and ethan lowe worth more than jdb? this is my biggest question because it will give me an idea of what to look for in the forwards.
this will really help me if you guys can share your learnings. cheers
