James looks a bit more stable for my mind.

He had 2 I think. he looked good IMO, definitely staying in my team.

Uate looked shit, as did Moses. Moses might be swapped for Taylor.

I liked the look of Carty again, but don't think I can justify his price.

I love Ash Taylor always trying to push him into my team

Carty is priced that way because he thats what he averaged haha! shouldn't lose money

I had Carty from day 1 right til the end last year, he deserves the price tag. It's just taking the plunge and getting him again at that premium price that is tricky.

Yea if Roberts stays as the bench utility role I think Taylor elevates to gun half status, problem is Elgey likely a few bad games away from being dumped for him and Taylor reverting back to half mediocrity

I'm very seriously considering going ultra light in the CTRs Idris with Kelly and running Jennings/Uate with RTS/Hayne and stacking my pack, I really think Kelly will be huge this year

I agree with you completely! He is an amazing talent but part of me thinks Barrett will play it safe for a few rounds with first grade experience

I too and either going to play Jennings or Kelly in my 17 cause like all back can be hit and miss might as well spend some money on forwards. Only downside if they go down injured or dropped its very hard to replace.

Sezer or Lamb?

Thinking what Sezer gains on goals might be worth having him to start with

did some calcs on james and his non-try scoring games last year.

he scored 773 out of 894mins with an average of 60mins - a ppm of 0.86, which makes his average 52 with no tries - 8 below current avg.
Ive had him in my team for the past week, because he burnt me last year. i guess a lot depends on those tries coming in because a friend or a mannering may be more consistent at less value

At a guess:

1- No goalkicking

2- BJ and Rapana scoring all the tries on the other side of the field

3- Raiders make shit-ton of yards so less KMs

4- Hodgson doing a fair bit of the kicking anyway

Of those issues only one is changed by the absence of Croker.

Wait. I thought Sezer was on their side.. I always hated Austin for not passing it to Croker it was frustrating much like Walker and Kapow
