Moses Mbye kicking games looks as bad as last year. The Dogs will struggle again against good teams if that continues.

Early prognosis is mcl for Cromer so good news it may not be his acl. Citric I assume would take his place. Also sezer may come into calculations now?

This weather is certainly testing the fitness of these players.

I just think they didnt need to attack him, they went 1 pass wider and there was Moses/Beale/Uate, Moses D is better then when he first came into grade but looks bad playing next to 2 reserve graders classed as "all stars"

was my first thought, will get GK duties but don't think he dominates the general field kicking like he did at the Titans to become a gun again

I only started watching after half time & Carty, Fifita, James, Vaughan, JT & Moses look fit & sharp.

Moses has been crap imo. Couple moments of brilliance and trying hard but generally not good enough.
In his defence Mbye has been anonymous and I'm worried as a Canterbury supporter now.

So much this. It's a big ask with minimal preseason and the weather conditions not helping

Could just as likely be Turner.White Lightning wrote:Cotric anyone
@ Milchy Doubt Ottio will come into consideration, dude did an ACL late last year and hadn't resumed contact training last I'd heard.

Sezer might have more value if Croker long-term.

Fifita had a lot of dropped ball. Looks like he is getting far too cocky holding in one hand up to the line and dropped a lot.
Is this always part of his game and the dropped balls are offset by the TBs and offloads?
James looks a bit more stable for my mind.

That's one of the joys of owning Fifita. He will have a strong run where he breaks 3 tackles and make 20 metres before dropping the ball and giving away a penalty in the ruck

I can kind of see an argument for a few different options.Welshy wrote:

Ricky might want to give Cotric a taste early in prep for the rep period, whilst also being able to keep Turner in that bench utility role.
On the other hand Turner is the bloke with FG experience who was clearly picked up for his versatility, so this kind of situation is sort of the reason you buy him.
Then we could also do some other weird stuff if its only for a single game or two, like put Sia or Taylor there or shift Wighton there and put Santo to FB. Personally i can't see a lot of merit in the last two options, but who knows.

This. How can you not have him tho?!? I hate the guy with every little Mearcat hair (all over my body) but if you don't have him you're not in contention.
Remember only two seasons ago James was no better
