He's a bit trappish but not the worst trap as will only get 30-35 mins but not more than 40 mins with a 4 forward bench. He never really has got big mins in the past at the Warriors & Panthers.

Eels Injury update, De Gois resting will likely have an impact on round 1 teams and the Vave injury may see a different forward pack named in round 2 compared to that in round 1.

Corey Norman suffered a hamstring strain in the Auckland Nines however is expected to return to the field for the Blue and Gold against the Sea Eagles in Round 1 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.
Scott Schulte is recovering from a hamstring strain and is expected to return in Round 1.

Cody Nelson is recovering from a calf strain and is expected to return in Round 2.
John Folau is recovering from a wrist fracture sustained in the pre-season and is expected to return Round 3.
New recruit Siosaia Vave is recovering from a shoulder operation and is expected to be available for selection in Round 2.
New recruit Will Smith is recovering from a knee reconstruction and is expected to be available for selection in Round 8.

New recruit Kirisome Auva’a is currently serving a suspension and will be available for selection in Round 2.
Hooker Isaac De Gois has been rested for the clash with the Penrith Panthers

A little bit cynical....but I like it.

I tend to think it is as simple as Fox trying to add any sort of bell's & whistle's to their product and not a lot of thought would have gone into any of the benefits/disadvantages for the game itself.

I guess he needs any opportunity he can get in that position. Makes sense though. Why isn't he starting anyway? Not fully fit yet I guess.

Would be interested to see who people think will be the highest scoring player from each position for total points.

I think it's just to give Voss, Gaz and those other dickheads something to whinge about and fill up their bullshit made up shows that go round and round in circles.

What's with this new 24/7 league show on Foxsports that's meant to be starting soon? Are they just going to show old Grand Final replays throughout the night to keep things ticking over?

I don't think they have really gone into detail about what's going to be rolling. Probably just a shitload of old games I'd say.
