Re: Ultimate Footy
At the end of the day though it's not really going to matter too much as everyone decent has already been picked up and the ones who are likely to score points should they get a crack in first grade are stashed. There's a reason that you didn't pick player x in your top 22 picks and there's a reason no one else did either

Re: Ultimate Footy
Just to clarify, RFA doesn't reset. So once you make a pick, you go back to #8 and advance only when someone else uses theirs.
But like Milchy said, it depends how you play the game. I think I have only been beaten to a player maybe once or twice each year for the last 3 years.

Re: Ultimate Footy
I beg to differ, RFA can be highly adventitious so correct placement is highly important, Mearcats got promoted on the back of ravaging the waiver system

Re: Ultimate Footy
that's true but for it to have a huge effect there needs to be enough people to want someone and for someone to suddenly have a huge change of fortunes. otherwise just be smart and pick people up when you can

plus you have to pick the right players ha but I was getting at the order needs to be correct first because the inevitable injury happens R1 the last pick should have first dibs on the potential replacementBeast From The Big East wrote:that's true but for it to have a huge effect there needs to be enough people to want someone and for someone to suddenly have a huge change of fortunes. otherwise just be smart and pick people up when you can

yep definitely. 1st pick whomever they want, they deal with it by being last chance if there is a massive r1 injury

Ponga almost a cert to start Round 1 now, Pythian has played his way into the Knights number 1. Spectre can have either for the reasonable fee of one Maubbs.

Tip my hate to you with that trade Welshy, no offence beast but i think he shafted you big time on that one. IMO the only definite upgrade you got was SJ for Taylor.Welshy wrote:Tradeaholic in fantasy, tradeaholic in ultimate....got my man!' Come on down Big Bad Tyson Friz!!!
For those playing at home this was the trade:
Beast now has
Robbie Rochow
Shaun Johnson
Jack Bird
Brett Morris
Welshy now has
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
Will Chambers
Ashley Taylor
Tyson Frizell

Re: Ultimate Footy
not completely sold on Ash Taylor so the big gain there to Johnson was fine for me in going from RTS to BMoz. Big Papa on the bench so fine losing Friz there as ready made replacement and with it only being starting 13 scoring I would have always looked at trading Papa or one of my other 2rfs regardless, and I've got all the time in the world for Bird so happy with the upgrade there.

Re: Ultimate Footy
Peats injury hits me pretty hard with absolutely nothing on waivers. Send me some offers so I don't have to run Damien Cook
