What Milchy said with DPP. Players drop down at the top then go into position changes.

Now that Smith is gone, it's tough to decide when to take a hooker I reckon.  Tempted to pick a hooker first but probably suicide.

Strategy is interesting! If there is a high scoring hooker left at my next turn do I take it, and use it as trade bait later in the comp. What about those potential cash cow guns that you know will get a shot this year. Do you take a risk on those?

For the person who takes 10 hours to make a draft selection? Sure.

Cashies can wait quiet a few rounds IMO. If I don't take a hooker first up, then definitely second round for me.

Most people are reluctant to trade in this comp, and any trade they do offer will probably be weaker than whoever you could have just drafted in place of your 2nd hooker. If you get a 2nd gun hooker if could well mean that you end up with a high scoring player on your bench and potentially suffer somewhere in your playing team.

Given that you don't actually make any money from your cash cows. It's better to pick an established plodder who'll give you 30-35 points, than some rookie who might get 25-30. Of course if the rookie is going to get 50+ then you want him.

Trading is non existent in Ultimate League L1. I don't think even 1 trade was completed last year.

There is no need for auto picks in L1 because everyone takes so long to make a single selection. Good thing I'll be in L2 next year where they know how to draft properly.

If History is anything to go by I will be relegated. Random won Ultimate League in 2015 and was relegated in 2016. I won in 2016 so there is a good chance I'll be relegated this year. Least the draft will be faster next year Laughing

There should be a diminishing amount of time for each autopick.

For example if you miss one, your autopick time gets reduced for every pick from then on in, or a limit to the number of times you can make everyone wait so long.

pretty sure I havent gone longer then 3 hours for a pick,, not sure what that equates to in panda time though.
