Someone brought up Reynolds as an option now as it will be his team and he'll be the go to for everything. If he was under 400k I think I would have considered him

    36 McGuire - Fai

    62 McCullough - Glenn

I just watched the game (recorded it hence behind the 8 ball in this discussion) and I'm pretty sure McCullough never came back on, I was watching for him so I could see who he replaced but he just wasn't there.

McGuire look ordinary to me. Just luck like a prop playing at lock. I know the broncos didn't have much ball in the first half, but it just seemed like a stock standard game for him. The minutes are a positive though.

I think Glenn should be the lock, and McGuire sticking to the front row.

Is mbye injury actually real? Heard it was BS. Someone said he was hanging around post game, no ice and no apparent discomfort

Dave Penna (assistant coach) said it was just a knock when all these rumours of it broken were were flying around. Havent heard anything legit since so im going off what someone at the club has to say until i hear otherwise from someone in the know

That was McGuire, not Macca. Easy answer, I'll watch the last 10 min again and post again, but not right now, got other things to do

Draft starting in half an hour and I have the 8th pick in a 12 team league. I think people will be dodging Gal with his draft ranking at 7, so I am looking at grabbing Merrin, Graham or Friend with my first pick. 17th will be my next pick so looking to nab a hooker with that if I go a forward first.

was getting excited about a cheapie. not sure how accurate this is, but i would believe he is ok for now.

this mcguire news is makes things unpredictable. if hes gonna play hooker during the year, maybe i should pay top dollar for a real one.

thanks for sharing the analysis guys

I would be very surprised if its in bennetts game plan to play mcguire at hooker in the NRL. At the end of the day it was a trial and macca didnt need to play 80.

From all reports, kodi nikorima made a strong return in the local trial last night so may well be good to go for round 1

I know it's only a trial and you can't read too much into it. But I think from what I saw, there is far better value at this stage in the McGuire price bracket.

T.Trbo scored a good try, then mins late put big Siro over.., Wink. Got both of them. Hopefully they're not peaking early. Sorry Welshy. Not sure on Kelly. Didn't watch the game, just highlights.

Ive been on the mcguire wagon all pre season but today is changing my mind a little. Im worried that the emergence of TPJ will take time off mcguire. Every time TPJ takes the field he impresses. Im just not sure mcguire can score in enpugh areas to turn into a full blown gun. Its a bit disappointing as hes one of few DPP in the frf/2rf im looking at.
