Priced at an average of 36.9 & if he spends say 15-20 mins at lock playing 80 mins he could raise that average to over 40. We're all searching for that consistent mid range option & he could be 1 of the better ones due to being guaranteed 80 mins.

26 rounds but 2 byes right? So he missed 1 game?

I'm keeping an eye on the cheapie hookers... but playing it safe by starting the season with Smith and McInnes with the option to downgrade McInnes to a cheapie hooker IF any of the cheapies start scoring enough points (45+)

Even so if McInnes starts avg close to 60 I'll probabloy hold onto him

I'm not going to touch the Parra or Tigers cheapies because I am worried about job security/injuries.

But Brailey might be good enough to justify selection.

It just adds so much more flexibility to the rest of the squad to go cheap there. Might be worth ditching the security of McCUllough/McInnes/Peats (well I guess not Peats now)

Watching the game on sky tv yesterday the thing that was pissing me off was how Ken Laban was pronouncing Tuivasa-Sheck.

What kind of score do you hope to get from Brailey?

Anything over 30 would be enough to make decent coin. Less than that and I think I'd try upgrade.

I'd want 35+ to consider him for my playing 17.

The big concern is that hooker is such a high scoring position, that if Brailey fizzles it will leave me well behind the 8-ball. Will need to dump a big name elsewhere to free up cash to upgrade (or hope there is another cheapie I can switch too)
The upside is that Brailey is so cheap that it allows me to get someone like Fififta or JDB into my forward pack when I otherwise wouldn't be able to afford them

I'm pretty much choosing between going Brailey/Tedesco or Luke/cheap WFB. In each case both players would be in my 17. I feel like it's less of an issue if a cheap WFB bombs (as there's usually new rookies coming up) than a cheap hooker.

If Seggy is not gonna happen, what options do the Sharks have. If Flanno was happy, they might persist with him for a little while at least.

Having SJ in my team & after watching how Tuivasarr-Scheck went do we think he could impact the scores of SJ. However this is probably negated with SJ gk again.

Sharks hooking will likely be split between 2 of

    Brailey, Mortimer, Nu Brown, Cherrington

I might put a team together with a cheap hooker just to compare how it will shape up points wise. I wouldn't mind having enough coin to start with Teddy

I have Brailey but as a npr. It allowed me to get Fifita who will score better than a 2nd hooker like McInnes, Luke, etc.

As a side note - SJ Goal kicking probably rules out Luke as a useful hooking option.

Slim pickings. I remember last week Flanno wasn't that impressed with Morts.

If I go a gun half, liking the look of Adam Reynolds.

Tonnes of kick metres in Charity Shield. Cody Walker did none, and Farah didn't do much.

Plus Souths looked pretty good. Admittedly against a poor Dragons team but if ARey can stay fit I think the attacking points will come.

i've been tossing up between him and Norman. I can probably go both with Brailey at 2nd hooker.

I think reynolds is going to go well
