If anyone here is an NearlyNRL fan, or wants to try it out, we've had a late withdrawal from our private comp and have a spot available.

There's a draft is at 3pm this Sunday (Sydney time) send me a PM if you are keen and can be online then.

Comp has been going since 2004, there is plenty of history to it.

How's it go Milchy? Never done it before (have done most of the others that I know of) but can be available for the draft and keen to give it a run if it's not too drastically different in terms of scoring et al

The scoring is quite different to Fantasy/Supercoach. It's similar to nrlceo/VNRL if you've played either of those.

You only get points for
Tries - 4 points
Goals - 2 points, but only from 1 player on your team, and you are only allowed one nominated kicker in your squad.

"Dominant Forwards"
Forwards can get 4, 2 or 1 points based on their attacking output (run metres, off loads, tackle breaks, line breaks)
They can subtract 4, 2 or 1 points from your opponent based on how many tackles (minus missed tackles) they make

"Peoples Player"
Sort of like Dally M, you can get points based on a voting system on site (with a bit of a stats component thrown in) It's a scoring component introduced to make sure you can get value from players like Lockyer/Foran who don't otherwise score fantasy points.
