Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 7
Norman at times last year was incredible, in a team where they lost their star recruit mid season, all semi's problems, cap issues, peats leaving, points dedcutions....what separates him from most halves is his partner does next to zero general kicking (can only think of Cleary and TMM who where its the same ratio) so Normans base stats are often fantastic, add that to a great running game, decent defender and someone who can sometimes appear to be a magician then you have a special fantasy player

No just the potential to hit the self destruct button though I thought there was some off field case pending?

Welshy could Taylor gk anyway? iirc i think he kicked one on the weekend while Roberts was on the field. And do you think Roberts would do general kicking from dummy half if named there? In the trial Taylor did all the long range kicking.

Al 3 of TMM, Lamb & Elgey have been in good trial form & have been playing well so I don't think they'll falter. TMM is an attacking player so Penrith's opening draw should suit him. Also 1 thing TMM has that Cleary & Moylan don't is speed (not lsd). TMM is the only 1 that can hit a gap. Elgey has a never give up attitude but not sure on him but he'll probably be in most 17's. Lamb looked sharp & heavily involved for the Knights.

If Peats was out for a round I wouldn't expect Roberts to take back GK duty for the 1 game, but if its multiple weeks I'm concerned he takes it back full time, until Peats returns.
The saving grace about Roberts potentially in at rake is I don't think he plays more than 50 because his defence isn't good enough to man the middle

Mentioned before almost zero KM is a huge risk for a half, if he doesn't score or rack up TBs you will be in major trouble with TMM, he has Carty, Moylan, Cleary all wanting the ball in attacking situations, massive risk going with TMM I reckon

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 7
TMM averaged his BE in the 4 games between huge scoring debut and injury game. 0 kms but 1 game he got 6 TBs I believe so it's going to be Rollercoaster stuff

I know there are other ways to do it, but if you are going with base price or almost base priced 4th half, do you go with a two game Hingano or a non-named sleeper? Opinions?

I've gone Field because surely the Dragons will need to try something at some stage.

So if we go with McInnes, is it worth hedging with Field I wonder so at least the fury of Field taking minutes of Mcinnes (via McCrone) is tempered by the Joy of our sleeper coming to fruition?
Edit: Just read what I wrote, makes me not want either...hmmmm

My HLF's are currently Moses, Elgey, Cleeland and Lamb. #iliketolivedangerously

So... $761k to spend across 1 FRF and 1 2RF. Both starting in the 17 and Gurgess, Sironen and E. Taylor are taken.
