    How some things change. Shocked

The last three years I've started with Farah and Fensom.
Both dropped during last year and it still doesn't feel quite right starting without them this year. Has to be done.

I used to disagree with my own shadow so I wouldn't take it personally.

Anyway as SI said we have a great little community here which you should see explode come TLT. Any hot tips or players you have liked the look of during the trials?

How are you mate? Back then i had 3 one after the other cos i kept forgetting email passwords geek i was 20valve, comegetsome then silvertop.

I started when arsen and ST were the kings so whats that, 4 seasons or longer? Its crazy to see you, aardvark, DK, Filth, shan, sash and a couple others that i cant remember right now still going solid. I think i even saw that rabbit.

I was never a big poster, liked reading and just throwing my 2 cents in now and then. Got my fantasy heart broken when Fantasy took over and never really recovered. Got sick of listing to that KFP ehen he was new lol. Went to the enemy in SC and wandered around last year. My workmates are saying that Fantasy went real decent last year so I might have another crack in 2017.

Bit old skool, my favourite seasons was where players like campese and soward could cover you in the halves and all you'd need was hindy, stagg, gallen and parker to take care of the middle. Chuck a couple forwards in your centres and you were decent lol. Ah those were the days. Anyways, good to be here here's hoping for a solid 2017 lol

    20valve and silvertop? Should I say I haven't seen you 4ages?

We have HEAPS of great posters on here that all started on Sportal around 2012/2013ish as well.

And that KFP bloke...yeah, a couple of us dragged him off to a Thai rehab facility and the bloke is one of our finest now  Very Happy  .

Ah sacrilege, how could i not name GreenMachine and TT (the b.o.s.s. at stats). Bloody shame on me!! Apologies!

Hmmm, ive heard of these off season rehab/training camps in Thailand. Seems to have worked wonders for all attendees.

    Whats Legends mate?

Not sure if you were on FB Mentors or not? Well, I don't know all the history, but a small number of the diehard and high performing Mentors group went into a further group called Legends. 60 members roughly year in year out. Arsen actually got me in there as it is invite only. You will see them on the rankings no doubt as Legends L1 or LGND or whatever prefix. Filth Sash Bullbender went through there. MS myself R0bDog TMan and a couple of others on here are still in there.

If one was to have Brailey, Elgey, Idris and Talakai in your 25 and you had to pick three to put in your 17, which three score the most?

Edit: Exactly how much do we see these guys scoring. I'm gonna go 35 for Brailey and Elgey, no clue for the other two

I would say Brailey, Elgey and flip a coin for Idris/Talakai. To play three of those mentioned players in your 17 the rest of your squad must be stacked!

With Holmes and Hayne potentially out.

Is it worth upgrading Holmes to TTurbo at the expense of  having two NPRs in the FRF with no DPP for cover if Gurgess pulls his pud again.

    Team:
    Smith, Farah
DSaifi, Gurges, NPR NPR (TLT dependant)
JDB, Surgess, ET, SMat, KBrom, Stimson,
    Taylor, Lamb, Elgey, TLT NPR
    Idris, Talakai, Kelly, Chee-kam
    RTS, Hayne, TTurbo, Phythian, Ponga

Nah brother, nothing that isnt already common knowledge here. I do keep wondering what motor kromwich and wallace have. Actually here's just a list of extra thoughts that ive been mulling over...

    -whats buhrer and barnetts role?
-are there too many props in chooks rotation for JWH to be viable?
-do farah and cook split 60/20 and swap the next week?
-is lowe, coops and lolo basically 80 mins each, therefore limiting boltons upside with fensom coming
-is thaiday:silent: or gillett under the radar?
-is there too much right side attacking at raiders for cotric to actually make cash outside of a fill in or being the fill in?
-who are the 80 minute hookers?
-what will gutherson actually do next to norman?
-what are my trade targets for origin? and the plan b?
-are the morris twins getting too old, how much cash is in their price?
-what hope is there for uate to get pies or even return meters outside of walker?
-will gallen really get his early season injury?
-can proctor make money priced like that?

Well thats enough for now its getting boring

Does MCK finally have a chance of 1st grade you think, or just there in case your centres bomb and you need to move Smat? If it's the latter and there are no better cheapies at centre, why not just move Smat to centre?

It is the latter. Depends how the cards fall on TLT. I think Talakai will do well if he gets the centre position. If he doesn't I will consider that move. I will also consider it if a good cut price 2NF cashcow is identified at TLT.

Stacked? Smith Fifita Surgess McG ET Norman Turbo, a little stacked. Think green machine's ideas are rubbing off on me. I think I agree Brailey and Elgey score more than those centres, so thinking of moving Smat to centre unless there are must have cheapies at centre on TLT. Other concern atm is Gurgess. The Arey news have any effect on him. Otherwise who would you get up to 393k?

I will probably have MCK there as well, each year he teases better minutes. Not sure we will see him as a starting second rower though, more likely at Centre, and only if there are injuries. His base stats at centre looked okay at 33 but only the one start there in 2016.

I don't get why everyone is picking Lamb over Sezer at exact same price. It just seems massive blind optimism over a player where we have no real idea how he'll do put have talked ourselves into thinking he's a great tackler who'll do all the kicking. Is he? Is he really?

Meanwhile Sezer scored at his absolute floor last year, has previously been proven to go 45-50, and even if he has a career low year again will add goalkicking points, certainly for the first month and, given Croker will be coming back from a leg injury, possibly beyond. Croker got 8.5 points a game from goalkicking last year, Sezer is just as good from the tee, and even if he only gets those points it's a chunky guaranteed price rise as opposed to the speculative rises you'll get from Lamb.
