    Mine at the moment are:

    FKaufusi

seems awfully strong. you must be going cheap in the ctrs? and a few other midrangers in the 2rf ?

my bench is a bit hit or miss.
    -Felise Kaufusi
    -Curtis Sironen
    -Sione Matatuia
    -Kane Elgey/Brailey

I'm hoping for a 40 out of Sione and Sironen, 35 would be sufficient for the other two. I'll play it by ear with Elgey/Brailey. Thinking Brailey will tackle his arse off in week 1 against the broncos.

EDIT exactly the same as @white lightning just posted.

I hear that bevan French is training as a second kicker in play to take into account guthersons lack of kicking game. I was not so convinced on him before but if he gets a decent amount of kick metres each week it almost makes him must have right?

How do things work for naming your team for Rnd1 in NRL fantasy?

More specifically, if I name someone that subsequently gets ruled out can I sub him out (prior to the relevant game starting) for someone else that hasn't played yet without burning trades?

Is there anything else I should know about how to make sure I do everything I can to make sure I dont get done by late changes for round1?

As everyone has said it is unlimited trades for everyone until their game starts.

The main thing to note is that if someone in the earlier games is playing in your 17, make sure they do so as a starter, rather than on your bench, if possible. Especially if they are DPP as it then gives you a little bit more flexibility if you do feel the need to do some Saturday/Sunday tinkering.

I don't feel so bad now every person so far also has a Sironen and/or Elgey!

I have one good centre mate who shan't be named to go with Idris. My backrow is Gallen, ET, KBrom

If French adds kick metres to his game, as well as a bunch of tackle breaks, and improves his run metres, and maintains his try scoring rate of 3 tries every 2 games.

Yes, he will be a must have.

It's a good point actually mate and I'm thinking I should be leaning more the way of a Barnett than a Lamb. Python is fine because he is dirt cheap. Every other attacker needs some consideration.

Toupou hanging around puts me off their backrowers a bit

I currently have Sione who I'll play & Phythian who will sit in my npr's. I've gone TMM over Lamb due to the Panthers opening draw which I think will suit TMM's attacking strengths. Regarding the Knights backs I think people have over reacted re the Raiders trial. The Raiders trial team were basically 60-70% the Mounties team so it was an easy win for the Knights.

I'm thinking of shifting to an SJ team just because they play them first up! Get ready to see your boys rack up the missed and ineffective tackles when's SJ and RTS unleash.

All that nonsense aside I like your thinking re panthers draw and I too and making sure to find room for one of them.

I'm not sure whether to drop Lamb or Sezer though for SJ if going that route

Too much money in your backline in my opinion. Seems like a real feast or famine team. Got to have your 55+ players like Gallen, Mannering or JDB in the 2RF.

Cheers. I'm actually set on the entire starting forward pack. It's just about shuffling the rest of the money around in a pleasing manner.
