Re: WAGS Autofill League
I thought this was a GENUINE thread for WAGS! And thought how great! I'm sure if you all put the challenge out there some WAGS would bite, just to beat you. After all, that's how I was initially lured into this fantasy world and I love it!

Captain Mannering for me
Just checked and I had Drew in my starting team with Hayne in NPR.
Oops, Hayne now in the team, but Drew locked in, so guess I'll be getting an AE first up. probably whatever Hampton or Perrett can dish up

Time to start making those trades. Where to start, get rid of under preforming guns who could lose 100k+ quickly or jump on 2 big cows and make 100k quickly?

I'm not in the League however I am interested to see the path everyone takes. If it was me I would sacrifice short term points for cash. Going to need as much cash as possible to build a decent squad to come home strong with.

Re: WAGS Autofill League
So if we all think the two trades we are going to make are the best thing to do, will we advertise our trades so that others can do what I know is best??
I know what I mean.
And I've made my trades.
And they are the best trades you all could make.

Or trade Gurgess to a gun to start racking up those points

Re: WAGS Autofill League
Something like that happens next week for me. After two trades ( got a keeper and a cow) I have $234 000 in the bank for next week.Milchcow wrote:Or trade Gurgess to a gun to start racking up those points

What is your strategy? I just Traded Suli + Talaki in, Phython + Luciano out.

I've gone Phythian to Brailey, because I love me a WFB to HKR multi-DPP trade.
I think I'll "downgrade" Gurgess to Musgrove of Faufusi - frees a bit of cash to $184 for next week, but either of those might be also turn out to be "keepers" in this comp - from this starting point we have to redefine what a keeper is. While we're going to get a few guns, we aren't going to have 17 of them. A keeper is probably, at the second tier, anyone who can average 40.

Re: WAGS Autofill League
Can see what you're doing as a way to go.Finch wrote:What is your strategy? I just Traded Suli + Talaki in, Phython + Luciano out.
My first trade is from someone that will loose money (is that the same as getting someone that will make money??) to a keeper before his price is to high for others to get him in. Want to get a few points as a opposed to loosing $$$s early.
Then got Jacks in for Morgan to get some more cash.
So while others can make cash in the long run I now have $354 to invest in someone that will be scoring points starting next week.
Not sure this is the way to go. It's good that it doesn't matter and I think it's already a learning experience.
