Anyone know how much he will cost?
Would be nice if he was available to select this week.

Isn't that illegal or something? To be training with an opposition team when you are contracted with another club? Albeit in a different competition.

James Hooper is telling everyone who asks on twitter that he 'reckons it will be done soon'.

    Hmmm...

I got told my HLF's are shit and my forward bench are all traps which is true but also got told Sione is a trap, Smith is too old and Mannering was doomed to move to the edge.
Half serious, half joking. All confusing

I'm thinking of using the same halves (well Fogarty over Hingano)
My worry is Moses's injury, so I may try and upgrade to SJ/JT

Sione is fine. He is well under priced from his games in the backs and getting injured last year. The cheap centres all have some risks, but you have to take risks somewhere and they look as good a bet as any.

The gun forwards are fine. Leota, Yates and Winterstein a bit more concerning. Winterstein gets derided as a trap, but I think if he keeps his spot he might be OK.
But Yates and Leota are unlikely to get big scores. They'll hang around giving crap scores, making no money and being hard to get out of your team.
The benefit is you get Smith, Fifita, JDB and Mannering. Just be aware that stacking your starting team weakens your NPRs
You have to weigh up the higher initial scores with the risk you won't make enough cash to upgrade later on

Ennis said last night that the Sharks want Brailey to play 80 and he will do it sometime this year.

Not if they sign Segeyaro. This is such shit timing. I might have to play it safe and go the two gun hooker option. Segs would be a nightmare for Brailey. Plus cherrington and Mortimer are hanging around. I can see milch's point about the 2nd hooker option being so important, but I went Smith and Friend last year. It killed me for the year. The blokes who took a punt on Parcell, Hodgson, Garvey and whoever else, had much better cash making options later in the year, where I stubbornly stuck like glue and backed myself myself into a dead end. Cow hookers pop up. This time I'll dump one of the guns and free up some cash if they do. I'm not keen on Pritchard, Brailey or any of the tiger hookers. Job security is shit. Maybe it needs to be be Smith and an NPR Bang

Hooper said they are still working through the dispute with Leeds, which has been the thing preventing it since before the 9s.

Well Leeds are apparently ready to sue, they think something illegal might be going on too

just a word of warning ....

Don't make late trades tomorrow the site is likely to crash or have huge log in issues. It has done this in the past and caught a few people with their pants down.

    Norman, Lamb, Koro*, Elgey
    SMat, Talakai, Idris, Kelly

    * Have added Koro as insurance for Brailey should anything go not according to plan and a cash cow half appears, it helps that I'm a huge fan of his and hope he has a great season at Manly.

Any recommendations on how to use that 100k?

    Ok fella. Here goes.

HKR: Obvs everyone is waiting with baited breath regarding the recent Seggy news which would defs make Brailey a no-no, however, if that news is bullshit then this is fine.

FRF: Though a bit risky I like it. I think both starters have potential and should get some decent growth. They'll be stepping stones, of course, but they'll get you there sooner then others I'd wager.

2RF: BIG! Look solid AF. Not sure I'd run with both Newie newbies if I were you but other than that, "move along, nothing to see here".

HLF: No offence but I think the Koro pickup is pointless. I see your reasoning behind it but there a better ways to use the coin that he wants, especially when combined with your 100k kitty. Norms gives good cover for byes and could step it to another level this year, Lamb ain't for me but that is purely a personal gut feel thing.

CTR: Same as every man and their dogs. If it goes to shit, as will everyone else's so nothing to fear.

WFB: Turbo... Mmmmm. Me likey. Again, the rest of the line up see my response to CTR.

CONCERNS: I have three. I don't see a captain. I could be very wrong and McInnes/Gal/JDB or even at a stretch, Normz, could fill that gap for you but IMO none of those are a week in week out viable C.

The money spent on Koro. Bugger him off already. Lol. You know what you need to do with that coin.

Lastly, who would make up your bench?

No one can viably claim TB's and tries as base stats. You're bloody lucky I have him in my side or I'd voodoo him this year just to prove a point! And as for how many games he's had... Teddy has been the only legitimate attacking threat for 4 years in that side!

    HOK: Most common pairing.

FRF: Solid picks, no issues. Got Stone and Yates so hedging your bets is a good call.

2RF: Solid picks across the board.

HLF: The starting HLFs are my HLFs so they better go good. Higano could get more games, but could not. Considering the other options are guys of the bench it is a risk either way.

CTR: Stronger than most with Trbojevic.

WFB: I dislike Gutho, but hey he could be nice and he gives you some flexability which is more why you seem to be picking him.

Also I like option 1 a lot more.

Cheers for the input, my only worry is probably the same as everyone....McInnes vs Brailey. But my work around will be to drop Surgess for FWinterstein and get in McInnes to keep the team.
