Whoa WTF Frank Winterstein is 30? Having no great clue of what he looked like I just thought he was like some 20 year old cousin of Antonio put in the starting side because Barrett likes his hustle or something.

Anyway
Brailey + ET out
McInness + Perrett in
Also considering McCullough
If Brailey kills it and Seggy becomes a clear no go then i can trade him in without losing too much cash

And Storm play early Friday game, so easy to swap Jacks in if he plays
Can we assume that if Munster goes to fullback that its longish term and Slater won't be back soon?
And if Jacks plays round 1 the spot is his to lose.

See I would rate the two of them the same. I think Holmes is talented for sure as is Martin. Holmes will play FB and get his hands on the ball, probs half as often as Martin in the halves. Everyone one thinks that there's upside for McGuire et all cos that person will see more ball, why then not say the same about Martin?
Milf barely kicks and yet can crank out a decent average finishing last year on 45.6. I'm not holding onto TMM if I do play him, I'm hoping he can go gangbuster and make me a quickfire 100k that I can then use to turn him into a second gun half. It's risky but only because of his price. The flip side to that is, it's the fact that he is priced so high that makes him easy to upgrade. He doesn't need to make 300k, just 100 will get me there.
Holmes is in the WFB though it's apples and oranges in that respect because I'm on about base stats boosting halves and TMM only has tackles and a 6 game sample. Milf still averages over 120KM a game that's a 6 point head start
I can see what you are doing mate and hope it pays off because its ballsy and I was looking to do the same grabbing a POD 2RF like Gillett and hoping he starts the season on fire for 5 weeks and jump onto a Gal/Fifita type
Just I think there are better options for his price in the halves.

It may well be from a guy with inside knowledge, but it isn't an official lineup.

I think carrying both is a bad strategy. Holmes i get as should be back next week, George who knows. I think your better off spending the money maybe on someone like Matagi, see how he goes and if he scores well you keep him and have good bye coverage, if he goes crap you hold the extra 100k and maybe bring in George or anther guy who kills it round 1 (Wallace ect)
Thanks mate. I will have play and see what I come up with.
Edit: That is not meant to be a dirty pun

Hi guys im new to the forums,
What do use think about jake friend as a point of difference could save a bit of money instead of Smith plus friend is still likely to average around 55

Madness mate, absolute madness especially without seeing how McInnes goes minutes wise
POD captains for a week/single matchup rarely ever work out over CS9 + Fifita but running a POD captain gauntlet for multiple weeks is suicide
Captaincy choice will be between Gallen and JDB and I'll probably set and forget to ease the anxiety.
Just thinking that while post of mine would have got Welshy all riled up (No Smith or Fifi and thinking of TMM) haha

Welcome mate
Definate POD around these parts but that's 4 points below where he is priced so losing money but if you plan on keeping for the season which you prob would, not much of a waste

Friend's best scoring last year came when Pearce was out injured and he had to take more of an attacking responsibility.
With Pearce back and firing he is unlikely to hit last years big heights.
looks to be better value in other hookers.

From what I have been told previously, the poster is close to the team, he knows his stuff. Has been a member for years on the forum.

And you think Lamb is that guy? Fair call but I just don't see it. If there is any other half I go that's around that money it's Maloney. At least he plays in a winning side. My call, Hodko hits form tho Knights go spoon or 15 again. Lamb is ok but nothing spectacular.
Panthers on the other hand I've already called. They'll be well up there.

FYI, if anyone is tempted by Luke seeing the Warriors with no bench utility.
Assuming SJ takes the goal kicking, then any gains Luke gets from the extra minutes he loses by not having goal kicks.

Welcome mate. Agree with Milchy. I think you are better off spending the extra 40k on Smith, or saving 150k and choosing someone in the tier below Friend.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 10
Made a few changes. Go nuts, I have all night to tinker.
HOK: Smith, Brailey
FRF: K. Sims, Matagi, Papalii, L. Yates
2RF: Mannering, J. de Belin, McGuire, Sironen, F. Kaufusi, Stone
HLF: Johnson, T. Martin, Elgey, Jacks
CTR: T. Turbo, Idris, Kelly, Talakai
WFB: Tedesco, RTS, Hayne, Phythian, Ponga
Adjustments are D. Saifiti/Holmes vs Matagi/Tedesco, dropping Moga as an NPR (I don't have the patience to deal with traps this season after falling for a few last season).
My other consideration is McGuire/Idris vs ET/Sione Mata'utia
