To me that looks like a temporary fix, either because Croker is going better than expected or because Ricky wants someone with better defence for the cowboys and or doesn't want two rookies to debut on the same side (or Turner to debut in NQ heat).

You would think too that if the Raiders are winning their games they wont rush Croker back they'd have no need to and they can make sure hes not underdone.

I don't think Turner will be playing much this year. Looked ordinary in All stars and the trial match. Unless he unleashes in the Mounties I cant see him being in the team soon

Klemmer and Sammy B welcome back lol.

Sorry this might seem like basic fantasy, but if you don't have Smith, then you better have Fifita and/or JDB?

Ah no I hadn't seen it. Well I think theres a chance against the Cowboys and you'll win against the sharks and tigers but the winning spree ends there my friend!

Hah! I think we might lose the first two. Have DT for tigers and win that and then get Croker back just in time to give his favourite speed bump another lesson and win that one. 2-2 after 4 rounds i have us.

Tl;dr my bet is Whitehead won't play a full 4 rounds out wide.

Also on Croker...which leg has he hurt and which does he kick with? If the same then you'd think Sezer would keep goalkicking duties even when Croker back given he's just as good at it.

    @Shanbon

Appreciate the feedback but Since when is Thurston considered to not be a gun...?

That's it time to piss into the wind.

Smith, Fifita and JDB are in to keep the stream flowing strong.
Vaughan, Peachey and Pangai Jr to provide plenty of risky wind.

    Smith, Brailey
    Fifita, Vaughan, Kaufusi, Yates
JDB, Peachey, ET, SMat, Sironen, TPJ

You don't need to know the rest

Brailey will still make cash if true, just not as much as we hoped.

Read that Munster has been training at fullback with riley jacks at 5/8.

This seems to fit in line with what Cronk said at the nines about Croft, that Croft is a similar player to him and is a direct replacement for him, and that the storms game plan this year will revolve around a running 5/8 (which makes sense given they have trained with Munster at 5/8 all pre season. Riley Jacks could be a shout for your 4th half guys (but probably just as risky as hingano). Field is probably the more long term option.

Unless I'm going crazy he's a lefty. Not sure what knee he hurt but outside of maybe waiting 1 or 2 weeks I don't think Sezer keeps the goalkicking. I think if hes good enough to play on it and take contact he's OK to kick.

I didnt say he wasnt a gun, just that id go with player who is cheaper and could become a gun or a straight out cash cow.

I cant see Thurston being top 3 halves this year so considering he has so much rep duty and likely to miss games id go a different way. Even if you want to stick to 2 x gun halves to start the season there are better more bye friendly options.

Fair enough. I like the look of the Cowboys draw however with 6 of the first 10 games at home. Was thinking of trading him around Origin.
