Also, personally i wont be picking Bateman, those considering should look at his stats last year, bigger minutes didn't always equate to more points. The way Ricky uses the team and the talent in it means the workload varies a fair bit. Could be worth a gamble if you intend to make some quick cash i guess, but seems to Risky to me. Paulo back next week. Croker could come back earlier pushing Whitehead into the pack again or alternatively Ricky might choose someone different next week like Naden, Santo or Turner. DTaylor Week 3. Etc.

Who has the more upside out of JWH and Wallace?

Big risk with YoungT, he seems to not be able to hold down a spot. Think Holmes is the option to go with IMO

Mind you i quite like the idea of gambling on a number of these short term players at the cost of some trades early.

Weakest spot is the halves, however I do have Tedesco. I can swap Elgey for a gun half but that means downgrading Tedesco.

You are right your HLF's are weak and that is a problem. However I don't like getting rid of Tedesco to make the change. I think maybe grabbing Lamb/Sezer/Maloney for Wallace personally and I think the side would look a lot nicer.

Too weak for mine. Where is the extra cash going to come from? You have Papalii, Yates, Field scoring less then 30 and a chance of being dropped any week. Then you have Stimson who isn't even in the 17 man squad and Hingano who is gone is round 3. Also Ponga who might not play first grade all year. If you run with this team you will probably be running out the same 17 in round 20 because they aren't making any cash

I don't know where to go from here. Something just doesn't sit right with me.

Gotta spend a bit extra to get some cows. Cotric/Phythian/Suli at the back. Idris/Talakai/Kelly/Moga in the centres. Elgey and Kaufusi making cash outside the 17 instead of being relied on for scores.

Thanks for the feedback. Stimson isn't in the 17 man squad, but that doesn't mean he wont be playing. With the lack of cash cows this year in the forwards, not sure who else I could of picked?

Not convinced on Moses and I feel like i'm a gun 2nd rower short (downgrade McGuire, swap ET). And got to deal with Holmes out for at least round 1 -thinking of French as a straight swap.

From those 7 players I'm missing two, Suli and Talaki. Suli might not even be playing. Doesn't make sense you said Stimson was a bad pick (Ok im phrasing here) but Suli is a good pick? Both not in the 17...

Tough one with no real cows in the forwards so I've taken a different approach of a few mid rangers with upside. I've gone Yates as 2rf but Felise Kaufusi is my next cheapest forward. Other option(not my preference) is like you have gone in targetting players likely to get a decent shot if there is an injury. Valid strategy is you pick the injuries right.

Also, why has nobody selected Tedesco? Seems like I'm the only one who has got him. Makes me think I'm doing something wrong so to speak. Or is he a bit of a "Luxury"?

That was based on the rumour posted here early that Taylor named him outside the 17 to avoid pressure and he will be making debut

Would love him but I ran out of cash so went with Dugan instead
