I remember the first year, you could do a Roosters and be over the cap by 3 million and it registered, remember how they changed the comp start?crashed non stop, couldn't sub players or swap reserves on the app...it was woeful, they have tried hard to make it better but like the NRL it seems to be run by a bunch of amateurs.

The app is still woeful to be honest

Also I remember Kurtis Rowe costing people who picked him a whopping $0

If you are keeping money itb why even bother running Brailey? Just run with a gun hooker and if Brailey performs and Seggy doesn't sign trade down to him?

Seems like Supercoach is winning the battle of the fantasy games by a mile. Hard to compete really when your up against the Courier-Mail/Daily Telegraph, constant promos, former popular players plugging the game. Just seems more polished. Never played it myself. But if I stumbled upon both and wanted to play an NRL fantasy game for the first time, I know which one I would be drawn to.

Changed the team around and have somehow ended up running with Brailey.

    Smith, Brailey
    McGuire, DSafiti, Kaufusi (R), Perrett
JDB, Surgess, KBrom, SMat (R), Sironen (R), Yates
DCE, Lamb, Elgey (R), Fogarty (might turn into Hungry Jacks)
    Idris, Talakai, Moga, Kelly
    TTubro, RTS, Hayne, Phytian, Cotric

    136k in the bank

Thinking of upgrading TTurbo to Tedesco, but also reverting back to Holmes there and returning to a Smith and McInnnes hooker scenario. If Seggy comes back in I will likely be ditching McInnes anyway for him so that frees up some cash, and if not I rate Holmes as having a fair shot at making it to a top tier WFB this year and McInnes could be a 55+ average easy. Dilemmas

I'm thinking of waiting to see if I downgrade someone like Mannering to ET dependant on how Brailey goes. If he steps up and kills it, I'll go all out and leave nothing in the ktty. If he looks shaky or shit minutes, I'll downgrade to free up some cash.

Cotric is just a winger - unless he bags a lot of tries he's not going to be making you a tonne of cash. He doesn't seem to be in the Mansour TBking mold

Kelly is the only one of those 4 that i wold have any decent expectations of

Talaki we've at least seen in first grade before and seems a bit more likely to get some base stats

    Thanks Milch!

Just trying to work out which cheapies to run with... I'm not keen to start Talakai in my 17 though... I think Kelly will go allright

    Agree totally

You would think that a fantasy comp that's promoted/set up by the NRL would be so much better than a comp set up by the newspapers, just shows you how out of touch the NRL is

Anyone have any thoughts on Stimson?

I traded Sironen to Stimson so I could upgrade McGuire to Fifi...

    Good/Bad?

i swear this latest design update makes it look more like Supercoach? To be fair I haven't signed into a supercoach account in 3 years, but that was the vibe I got this morning.

Its ridiculous that there is even two comps. The NRL should have spent money on merging them years ago (not that I want to play supercoach scoring).

I reckon we'd be safe with Brailey for a few weeks. Might make Brailey step up even more knowing that Seggy might be close.

    DCE or Norman?

I know Norman is getting a lot of wraps around here and I definitely see the appeal, but there's just something about DCE for me this year where I think he will be a huge POD with great but not one that people rush to swap their other halves to because they aren't exactly failing either.

The nrl obviously doesn't think its a money generator. Would rather plug Sportsbet at every opportunity
