    Someone convince me on Musgrove

Why was his round 1 score last year so much better than his scores when he came back to the team.
How bad was his injury and is he over it?

Why should I expect more than low 30s out of him

What's people's thoughts on Tamou this year?

    Looked good in 9's
    McKendry gone for season
    Latimore gone.

    Surely sees more minutes.

I know Norman is getting a lot of wraps around here and I definitely see the appeal, but there's just something about DCE for me this year where I think he will be a huge POD with great but not one that people rush to swap their other halves to because they aren't exactly failing either.

I'm running with Norman ove DCE because of Byes... both have a good season ahead of them bar injuries

I'm saying you remove the advantage of running Brailey if you keep the leftover cash instead of upgrading somewhere else. Brailey isn't going to outscore Friend/McCullough/McInnes/Luke etc so if you run with Brailey and just bank the cash you aren't receiving any advantage

If those gun hookers looked like they were going to increase by $150 - $200k, then I would agree with you. But if Brailey performs, I have the cash itb and his additional value after a few weeks to upgrade 2 mid range players into 2 guns, whereas the guy who starts with mccullough is in the same position a few weeks later, but quite possibly with 80 or so more points.

He has 80 more points but I have an extra gun for the remainder of the season in comparison

If you are running with Brailey AND reasonably happy with your team then it could be an edge over everyone else having it for the inevitable dud or two we have all pick every year.

Can't work it out myself. Was it true he played through injury at the back end of the year? Thought he rebroke/fractured the hand again, could be making things up.

Looks like Surgess only played 53mins in rnd 1. Souths won that game 42-10 but jumped out to a big lead early. Maybe the minutes he played through the middle was when the game had died off a little and was just going through the motions.

This is my team. Any recommendations where I can spend it on?

    Smith, Brailey
    Jbrom,Kuafusi, JWH*, Wallace*
Kbrom, ET, Smat, Sironen*, Yates, Stone
    Norman, Maloney, Lamb*, Elgey
    Iris, Suli, Kelly, Cotric
    Turbo, Hayne, RTS, Suli, Phythian

Upgrade Maloney and Stone. Id be wary of running 4 Storm forwards too.

JBrom to Gallen via Yates (50k)
Maloney to Koro (Covers Brailey/Seggy 55k)
Stone to Winterstien if you want to keep a big bank or Bateman if your happy with 50k left

FYI this is from Lone Scout on facebook

Segeyaro himself could be a bit of a cash cow if/when he arrives, after averaging 32 in 4 games last season. His break-even would be around 27.

This implies they will price him on his NRL, not ESL performances, and he'd come in at $255k

First 2 years I would always make sure I'd have 200/300k in the bank, but you would get that far behind it was always about catching up and by the time you got your team set and pulling good scores, I'd have no trades with 4 to 5 weeks left

Now it's about having 50k max and a strong squad early

Tamou played 46 minutes for the cowboys.

The guy he is effectively replacing in the starting lineup, Leilani Latu, (who has been demoted to the bench) played 48 minutes last year.
