Any worthwhile outcomes with the Hiku injury or is DWZ ready just to step in. I was thinking Dylan Edwards but he might just get a couple of games at the most.

I think DWZ is still a few weeks away as well.White Lightning wrote:Any worthwhile outcomes with the Hiku injury or is DWZ ready just to step in. I was thinking Dylan Edwards but he might just get a couple of games at the most.

White Lightning wrote:Hey SI what's happened to weapons this year. It's pretty quiet over there compared to last year.
Melville/Andy/Sipi decided they weren't going to maintain the admin side of things this year. I believe Melville isn't playing Fantasy at all. I think he said he was going to concentrate on SC, but not 100% on that. Sipi and Andy are still playing.
So it's ticking along, but barely unfortunately.

The second option looks perfect. Though I don't think he needs to trade out K. Brom. I think Leota and Patrick Kaufusi could use a swap out though as I dont see either of them making money.
Leota may be a slow burn but im guessing RnT knew that going in. PKaufusi could go but i think going for bulk points and what looks like a long term gun in Barnett for 477k is a pretty good deal. I see Kbrom as a 40 avg so priced almost right (guess thats why i dont have him) but maybe others who picked him are thinking he is a 50 avg, in that case your right just hold him.
So maybe a combo of both, Maloney to Suli and PKaufusi to Matagi/Musgrove

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 13
No trades for me this week hopefully.
My main concern is it looks like hess will only get 30 minutes. Not sure to play him, elgy vs knights or brailey as my 4th reserve.
Also i knew i was paying overs for tturbo but his potential was too tempting to leave out. Hopefully Manly hold onto the ball this week

Agreed, I wouldn't be trading ET if I had him.

Especially when you take into account Woods last 3 scores vs the Panthers = 54, 42, 52 and his last 3 scores at Campbelltown = 56, 64, 51 so plenty of potential there to score 50+.
So if I keep powder puff Woods for another week and he bombs I won't be in two minds whether to trade him out or not.
Looks like I'm sticking strong even though I have an itchy trade finger.

Cheers mate that explains it.

Trying to save those trades so I can make a comeback during the origin period SI style.

Must admit I'm chuckling to myself a little to those who went with Moeroa. I had him last year (or the year before I think), and he is the most frustrating player to own. Must run 100 decoys a game.

I'd planned on no trades as well but I'll probably move on Pythian for Burns and I really want Barnett.

haha and fair enough. I can only blame myself. Got that sinking feeling watching him go round doing nothing.
As mentioned earlier though I want to keep the faith

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 13
Talking of trade rage. This year I'm trying to play smart because in prior years I would of done these 2 trades for round 2:
Smith & Surgess out - McInnes & JDB in
Of course I won't ........................................... or will I haha.
But serious throughout the week I will be tracking ownership changes of those 4 players to actually see if fantasy players will do this. About 2-3 hours ago ownership:
Smith = 25,273
McInnes = 1,650
JDB = 8,932
Surgess = 26,739
Does anyone know if ownership changes are live & are updated as they occur or are they updated say daily. Thanks.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 13
In the end even the defenders knew there was no way he was getting the ball. All it takes is a couple of those decoys turning into good runs and hes busting out a 60. This is in no way meant to be construed as advice.my tv broke wrote:

Hoping Surgess drops a bit more in price before Reynolds comes back. Will definitely look at trading him in when he bottoms out.

Maybe that is Parra's secret game plan. Keep playing Moeroa like Mick Crocker for a few more rounds then when they need a try to win a close game they can hit him with a short ball close to the line.

Fox Sports tipping Edwards to come in.

Looks like no action will be taken against Cartwright. Gus saying it has affected his well being greatly. That's all well and good but is that going to affect his fantasy scores for me on the weekend??
