Keen for some thoughts on the following: was going to play Phythian as 3rd WFB but that clearly fell through. Liked Dugan pre-season but opted against spending that much down back (went double-Cam at hooker) but think Gutherson is the go with his byes. Considering this:

    E. Taylor -> Moga (via S'Mat) or (NPR 2RF or FRF under $185k)
    Phythian -> Gutherson

    or

Take M. Gordon instead of Gutherson and have $202k for the NPR

Hope everyone is still still treading water after Rd1!

Welcome to the new and improved Sportal mate Very Happy

I've thought about taking this same approach. My problem would be if, next week, Wallace's price was $321,000 and Saifiti's was $319,000. I wouldn't be able to do such a trade unless I downgraded one of my middies I'm keeping my faith in(Siro, Kaufusi) or underperforming(potential)guns(ET, Klemmer).

I feel like every game I buy is just passing time until Red Dead Redemption 2 is out later in the year, but Horizon Zero Dawn is pretty cool..  Would be better if it were more graphic though

Saw a trailer for HZD at the cinema a week or so ago, looked awesome. Red dead 2 will get me back gaming.

Whoops I meant to post that in the gaming thread haha

Yeah HZD is good fun and the visuals are pretty incredible, but bring on RDR2

Is moeroa worth persisting with? I feel like he was a mistake to begin with, but trading him to someone like Wallace seems sideways, despite the obvious cash available. Don't have enough in the bank to upgrade him to anyone worthwhile

    Alot of maybes

He's leadership group and in his prime, storm rehab well and he's up to lead the forwards with the fu and proctor gone. He iften has his hands/wrists strapped so it might have been there for ages. My 2c anyway.

Could see Whitehead move back to the pack and someone else fill ctr or maybe Turner comes onto the bench or some other fwd. Either way its probably just one more reason to not be too hasty on judging any scores you see in that Raiders pack. Taylor will be back next week and hopefully Croker not long after that so there is going to be plenty of change and shuffling in the next few weeks.

First thing that comes to mind is that it makes it even better for papalii. I know he played 80 the other night anyway but i was doubting whether or not that was going to be the regular.

TLT is going to be interesting this week. Hearing both Burns and Jennings could come into the side with Talakai back to the bench. Time will tell....

    Kelly, Talakai (Moga, Idris)
    TTurbo, RTS, Hayne (Suli, Python)

    $53k in the bank

Any obvious improvements? Other than a few reserve changes perhaps I don't think I can see too many obvious personnel changes. Rookie Stu would have gone Gallen -> JDB and Python -> another noob but Wise Stu is hesitant to rock the boat too much after just 1 week.

Well youve hit all the right rooks, no stone ( Laughing ) no field, all well balanced and lookin good.

Temptations: mcinnes, mcguire, wallace, barnett, satautia, gutherson

    Obvious to-do: fix phythian

Suggestions: im still not a moga fan (sorry others), uate?

I know smith is the leading fantasy player but i think the tactic this year is to start with someone like mcinnes and use cash cow money to get smith later on when his value has dropped, 631 000 is alot

Would be harsh, outside of a horror defensive read he was the only Souths back outside of Walker who did anything...Goodwin fell over the line 3 times

Sorry bro i didnt finish off my line of thought properly. I was also thinking about responsibilities for carting it up. He's got awesome footwork before, during and after the line, a very good offload and vision. So if someone as dynamic as Tapine isn't around to create Papalii might take it upon himself to contribute.
