Not sure if it has been posted yet but while mannerist is very likely to play, there are still doubts over Gubb and Luke. Kearney is "hopeful" they will play.

NOFO is on my hit list once Jayne reaches 300k so more than likely not going to get NOFO
Had Nofo last year and this year in a draft game. Every time he goes on a run and breaks a few tackles

There were no real surprises in round one were there, other than ryley jacks? Even then, we got that news a few days ahead of time. Bodene was named in 18 but we knew a couple of days ahead of time hed play.
Most teams ran out 1-17 i think
Even suli was named on the wing when they were cut to 19

Phyth > Moga this week for me. Any reason not to pull the trigger?
I'm hoping jwh hits a 50 for me.

Well comparing the teams named on TLT last week to the actual 17 that played...
Sharks: 1-17
Broncos: 1-17
Bulldogs: 1-17
Storm: Croft (#17) Dropped. Jacks (#19) made it to the starting line up. Young T (#1) to bench, Munster (#6) Started FB
Souths: 1-17
Tigers: #16 + #21 Into starting Line up. #4 benched, #17 didn't make the final cut.
Dragons: 1-17
Panthers: 1-17
Cowboys: #5 Gone, #21 into starting line up.
Raiders: #1 Gone, #19 into starting Line up.
Titans: 1-17
Roosters 1-17
Warriors: 1-13, #14 Dropped off bench, 15-18 played
Knights: 1-17
Manly: 1-17
Eels: 1-17
So 5/16 teams changed their 1-17.
Guess you are right though, most teams are doing 1-17, however maybe because it was round 1, no injuries etc.

I wondered if there was probably a bit of pressure from the nrl on the clubs to not piss around with the system, and do what they can to have their 17 as close as possible.
Yeah sure. More likely the coaches are still figuring how to play the new system.

Not trading Phythian to Burns. By the time Origin rolls around Reynolds and Gray will be back and I don't see any Rabbitohs backs making Origin. Will wait and grab Ponga when he finally gets named around Origin time

Nofo had a good game but has never been a top tier gun and getting Teddy now really seems like chasing last weeks points. I really don't understand all the Hayne hate from a fantasy perspectiveRoss96p wrote:Have 100k spare , want to have both nofo and teddy which one should i bring in now and which later when upgrading hayne

Agree. Feels like everyone had a rough idea of the one player they wanted and how to get them, checked the teamsheets, made the trade, logged off
Not a lot of controversy or decision making this week. Watch it blow up as soon as Seggy is in the 21

How long ago was his last game for the Eels?
If he's not right to go round 3 the Warriors recruiting department should have a hard look at themselves.

Lets throw the Cat among the pigeons. If Smith scores say... Less than 60 this week would you trade him out next week?
