I think Hess this year will be like Gurgess when he started in first grade. He will play phuck all mins but score 35-45 points due to tries.

Trustworthy guy on Renegades knows the physio who said the 8 weeks is paper BS but he's looking more likely round 4-5. Luke will play as long as he can through the pain and I heard Papalii named in lower grade so Clark probably stays as bench backup for Luke.
Take it as you like
Thanks for that. This is consistent with the other info coming out of the Warriors camp so for planning purposes I would go with that.
Doyle was pretty heavily hinting at round 4 to 5 when I heard him speak.
If Luke has a niggle they will want Clark as a back up on the bench at the expense of Papalii (which could be good news for Papalii owners once Luke is back to 100%).

Michael Gordon for one. Had a big week last week, and Roosters should score a lot more points this year and he has the kicking duties. Started the year priced early 30's, Should be able to get 40's pretty regularly id say?
I hope not, the last 3 years I have been on the Michael Gordon train and was burnt each time.

He was priced at 34 points, and if he has a better game or if teams play more through the middle (Smith's poor score is coupled somewhat with the Bulldogs spreading the ball. Hence Jacks making 30 something tackles.) Would you consider trading him out? He is going to make decent cash still.
I picked KBrom expecting around 40 but hoping for more.
I'm not sure he will average much more than 40. Trading him down to someone who will also make decent cash frees up money for upgrades elsewhere that i think justifies the trade.
Might end up changing my mind and reversing tomorrow. See how it goes.

Trade rage jokes aside I'm still struggling to decide between Talakai and Moga. Will be trading one in for Pythian by moving cotric to WFB.
Suggestions welcome

I just realised Holmes wasn't named in the extended squad so he's definitely out for me. Really need a comeback next week or I'm in trouble

Does it need to be this week? Tally,s job security is stronger but Moga has more upside tough call.

This is how I ended up with Faufusi over Kromwich.
Made sense to me.
I figured he'd score close to if not the same as Krom and would make more money in doing so while allowing me to spend $$$ elsewhere.

Faufusi's base stats were horrocious. He was on 13 at halftime in that Dogs game as well from memory?

Also, I really need to throw my team into a bye planner before I actually make any trades this week now that I think about it :/

His base stats in the few games he played around 50-60 minutes were 25. I understand everyone grabbig him for cash rises ut would never have contemplated playing him in my 17.

Do you have any spare cash?
You could be a little risky and go Safaiti and JWH to Barnett and any other 2nd rower under 180K (plus whatever cash you have on hand) via both Kaufusi and Yates DPP. I went the 2nd row via dpp because there are better cash cows then frontrow like Winterstien/Stimpson/Chekam
Geez mate thats not a bad idea. I can afford winterstein. Barnett really makes my second row look much improved. Ill definately give it some thought

Brailey might go close to the Carter award if he gets 80 mins. Not dissing his effort but I can see him struggling a little.

Moga is cheaper but will be facing strong defensive sides - Storm, Raiders, Bulldogs, Roosters.. he might get more tackles, but less tackle-breaks?
Talakai is a bit more expensive but will be facing - Knights, Roosters, Cowboys, Panthers... he might get a few more attacking stats in there...

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 14
initially i hedged my bets including both Kbrom and Faufs to see who would get 80 mins. it looks like faufs is winning that war. but im gonna hold kbrom. he has low ownership at 11% which could be considered pod territory with how similar every team looks this year.
i can see why others would want to trade, with almost every cow performing at their pre-season prediction if not higher

I guess it depends on what you think these guys will average moving forward and for what reason you want them for, but if it is to replace a cow with a cow then I reckon it should be done this week.
As an example if you think Talakai will ave 30 moving forward then by next week he will be valued at 217 with only 66k left in him. You get him this week and you get an extra $20k which is about 30% more.
I think it depends on how much you value your trades (i've heard people say about $50k per trade) but in the case of Moga and Talakai whether they will be starters for you or not as well.

Good idea... I currently have 9 playing for round 12 (which is the tougher round this year)
Looking at picking up Whitehead (once he's back in the 2RF) and Holmes as early targets for round 12
