I have Cotric as my third wfb I'm happy with that. Scoring alright without any tries

I'm getting nervous about his role in playing a simple 1st receiver.
Keep or get out while i can?
I own him as well. Don't know what to do with him. I can't find anyone I want to downgrade to and if I upgrade, then I can't get Hess.

King Guth owner reporting in. He was a little pricey but I backed this guy 100% and was one of my first picked on opening day. DPP, average of 40 or so playing in the HLF's last year and was getting the goal-kicking duties. So far he's delivered the goods

Same here, have a feeling Raiders V Tigers could be a high scoring game.
This is not based on facts or fake facts, just feeling lol

Combined aggregate score of last two Raiders/Tigers matches 112-16 Raiders

Rad
Im pretty sure its locked in, almost traded him in last week for Tturbo but the lads on here (cheers lads!) talked me out of it haha
Numbers looking pretty bare for the first bye round in particular so feels like a decent option even if Hoare falls off a cliff.

Just re-looking at PKaufusi will need to increase his role/involvement to get the extra points, that is normally a red flag in hoping for a scores uptickSpectre wrote:I thought lolo was only getting one week. Two weeks out I don't mind the Paufausi punt all of a sudden
Hoare might be the better punt

What happens to Hoare when Lolo back. Don't want to get stuck with another FRF that doesn't play

I think I'm going to give him one more week to show a change that he won't consistently be two passes from every try scored.

Was hell bent on getting Teddy this week. But somehow I have this feeling I should keep KBrom. Already got Hoare in for Pythian

Have a shortfall of 102k for Yates to Whitehead. Thinking about 50k of that can be made up by Yates appreciating and Whitehead depreciating so will need to aim for another 52j at least right? Sound reasonable?

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 18
Guth should score very well with Norman out this week. I am very tempted to bring him in, but in terms of cash potential at the moment Lamb wins out. Scoring similar the Guth at about 100k cheaper. Guth has a higher ceiling though in my opinion.
My trades are
Hayne to Hoare (via Cotric, Sata'uita and Yates)
and
Elgey to Lamb
I will be left with 125K for later updating my front row, and I have Moeroa to downgrade if need be. Still think I can wrangle enough to upgrade Pritchard to McInnes if he fails against the Titans with cash left over. Or just save it for the likes of Whitehead, Jromich and all the other fallen angels up front

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 18
So P Kaufusi replaces Scott in starting front row and Hoare takes P Kaufusi place on bench. Now that Taumalolo has got a 2 game ban, Fensom probably takes his place either straight swap to 13 or on the bench with Hess/ Lowe to 13.
Question is when Taumalolo returns, does Fensom drop back out the 17 or does Hoare maybe drop out with Fensom/ Taumalolo moving up to front row rotation?

Hoare is in the side as a bench prop because Matt Scott had a season ending injury averaging I say 30 to 40 minutes (probably at the upper end).
Taulomolololololo fails to have much effect on Hoare's minutes the way I see it, however will impact Hess. The Hess boat has floated and you have missed it at its best except for perhaps the next two weeks, but then you will have a player losing value, so it is a quick trade.
Trust in Hoare's ability to reach around $350K fairly quickly, Buy low sell high.

I would lean towards Green keeping Hoare there purely because he was already named on the interchange with Lolo there.
Boys are pretty set in their forward rotation so would expect Hoare to also stay there on that principle also (replacing PKaufusi on bench who is replacing Scott in run on)
I would expect Hoare to take PKaufusis 35-45 minutes off the bench with Lolo returning

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 18
I'm actually pretty sure some of them were deliberate. It's the one part of his game i hate the most, but he loves to try and milk a penalty. If you look back at the first few games last year he did the same thing, shit play the balls or handling in an attempt to get a penalty from it. In his defence they are usually scenarios where a guy is hanging off him and it is sometimes given as a penalty, but I'd rather he just doesn't bother. Anyway, point being its not a positional thing but hopefully its a goes away with time thing like it did last year.Pain wrote:

Some of those errors last week almost looked deliberate. He's probably wanting to trade himself in at a cheap price.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 18
Is it risky to play Abbey at WFB and Hoare as 2nd FRF both in 17 with a plan to do Papalii>to a Whitehead or maybe Brom when they've dropped.
Thinking of going ahead with planned selling Koro and Dalker as not feeling them do anything but lose more $$$
Would get Abbey and Hoare via DPPs and $388k to upgrade to fallen guns next few weeks
