Fensom will start playing 25-30, then off with Lowe to move into lock until the 55-60 minute mark. Fensom to come back on then and play out the game. Lowe done for the night.

Bolton, Kaufusi, Asiata and 1 of Spina/Hoare/Jenson/Uale to rotate through the FRF.

When Lolo returns I expect Fensom to stay in the side over Spina/Hoare/Jenson/Uale so I think those getting Hoare in are wasting a trade unless an injury happens again.

Do you know something or just speculation?

Pretty much everyone on Cowboy forum wants him playing off the bench for impact from what I've read.

Yeah I thought when McGuire scored 60+ it would blow you out of the water but instead he blew me out of the water with his 41 haha.

I guess what they want and what the coach wants are two different things.

In all honesty, I don't think I'd be scared of still bringing him in if he's on the bench. Could go Abbo instead, but still want to take a punt on him.

Am I the only one bringing in Ponga? The kid is class and handled his debut in finals football pressure with ease last year. Let's not forget how injury prone coote used to be, I'm hoping his out a little longer than reported. who knows, Ponga might be back later in the year if cootey goes down again.
I'm backing him to average 40 odd , 1 trade for me this week

None of the scorers own him yet.

Highest score so far is 45.

Would you have selected McGuire, Smith, Tedesco, Macca, Graham, Johnson etc if you knew their highest score for the year was going to be 45?

Realistically he'll probably jag a few tries throughout the year but definitely nothing to suggest he'll average 50+.

I think Kaufusi to JBrom is going to be a popular trade once we see a peak/drop equilibrium.
I imagine Kaufusi will still be earning cash at that stage though so some may have other FRFs worth less and spend more money for the upgrade.

When Tohu comes back even if Felise starts KBrom will take minutes off him, you'd think. But by then he should be an easy trade to an actual keeper.

This is a bold assumption given he only played 30 minutes in regular time with no injuries in round 1.

I don't doubt he will get more minutes, but no one actually knows how that will actually play out over time.

This is my assumption with what will happen. Green isn't stupid and knows Hess is still young and will provide better impact on the game not playing the first 25-30 minutes and getting tired. It's a long season and playing your strike weapon for 80 is not sensible.

Will probably average just as well because it probably ensures he continues to bulldozer over for tries regularly. I just don't expect an 80 minute Hess anymore for the next two weeks like I was hoping, so I went with McGuire for the long term. Not happy with his 41 given Hess will score about that.

Matt Scott out for the year probably means he gets 50 minutes going forward. Just a gut feel.

I have to say that is a good analysis and could well be on the money.

Sounds like you are trying to justify to yourself for not picking him and going McGuire mate. Don't stress McGuire will stay in your team all year, he just had a really shit night and still scored 40.

Even though I am gonna trade him in, I'd agree. His scores would probably be better from the bench than starting.

My gut's telling me the same. I had Hess for most of the preseason and then left him out when Fensom signed. But with Scott out for season and at least in the short term Lolo out as well I think it ensures he's gettting closer to 50 minutes than 30. And people keep saying "he won't score a try every week" but he keeps doing it, and I think he will do it often enough to keep his b/e low enough to make the 100k I want and could be a keeper if there's anymore injuries.

I will likely eat my hat over Hess but I'm stubborn and the same thing happened back in 2013/2014 whenever it was that George Burgess burst onto the scene.
