With McGuire scoring less than anticipated I now need JDB, Fifita & Surgess to up their game from last week & all hit 60+.

Reports saying DCE doubtful for game. Would this be good news for Koro and or Dalker or would Hastings come in for DCE?

haha! I missed both Gurgess and Ben Hunt, and the beginnings of Hymel Hunt last year. Been trying to change my ways and not be so stubborn. And still, I just can't see Hess being a trade in for me at this point.

abbey up to almost 18%, Trd 2.3%, cornish 1.5%. easy to see where fantasy punters are flocking.

might be a pod to go one of the titans pair and hope for points. i dont have the balls though, going to run with abbey

Sounds like you are trying to justify to yourself for not picking him and going McGuire mate.  Don't stress McGuire will stay in your team all year, he just had a really shit night and still scored 40.

I'm happy with McGuire mate. Just would have liked more than 41. Will likely get 55 next week so not concerned. Is a season keeper. Saves 1 trade. I mean I will have more important trades than cashing in on Hess in three weeks time, anything could happen. Season ending injury to guns. Teams with Brailey could have seggy come back etc. hess will go well regardless of being on bench or not and should make $70K in next 3 weeks.

Hess is a perfect fit for fantasy the way he plays. It was like he was purpose built for fantasy. I'm calling this early but he's better than the 6 million dollar man.

I understand mate and the extra trade was the thing I was weighing up too, considering I have every cow under the sun. But bugger it haha. If Hess can get to a JBrom, Whitehead price in 1 trade, I'll consider it a win.

Makes me want to save my trade even more and see how they all go and decide next week.

I didn't have enough $$$ to bring Hess in this round without downgrading ET or Surgess (and at the same time attending to the dumpster fire in my WFBs and HLFs)
I will re-asshess the situation after this round....

Also I need to free up some more coin to bring W'head and Jbrom into the fold after round 4/5 which is a higher priority on my list.

I'm backing him to average 40 odd , 1 trade for me this week

I see him as the best scorer of the cheapie bunch but job security is just too big a risk for me.

this is partly why I'm looking to bypass Hess. Think I can just get Whitehead and JBrom soon anyway.

JBrom as a keeper prop option is nice but he doesn't play round 12. Whitehead and Bodene are probably higher priorities if they both put up 50's this week

@ wackos - Storm confirm Munster broken jaw out 4-6 weeks. Vunivalu dislocated shoulder out 3-4 weeks. So this probably opens the door for C. Scott/Young T.

I've gone TRD, happy to watch Abbey this weekend and decide next week if its worth moving Idris on.

Even with Copely now at the Titans, surely TRD keeps his spot until 1 of Don/Hayne come back?

Sarginson is out this game by the looks of it, and when back centres are Hurrell, Sarginson and back 3 of Copely, Zillman and TRD you would think. Given TRD was starting ahead of Vidot and Cornish surely Cornish will lose his spot first next week to Copely and then hes got the job until Hayne/Don come back which is 4-6 weeks? Even then, his form could warrant staying in the side.

Just couldn't pass up the free money of a 37 score, base price with negative break even. Scores of 20 he still makes very good money.

Just looked at the Cowboys next half dozen fixtures and it's suddenly made me really keen on Ponga. It can probably wait a week until we know more about Coote's injury, but hell it's even made me keen on Thurston and Morgan. Cowboys should score bucketloads.

Good news for Hungry Jacks owners, shit news for Munster. Wouldn't get excited about C Scott, be out of the side as soon as Vuni is fit again.

    Get all three,

Sironen becomes Whitehead and you can probably afford to wait longer than round 5.

Cash cow backs get downgraded to make up the cash to get JBrom and Bodene will bottom out round 5? Problem is most will still be making cash up to about round 7/8.

Yep 6 of first 8 games at home & they only have to travel out of state for 1 game & I think that is the Dragons. Pre round 1 I was tossing up between JT & SJ but went with SJ. JT will score 80 against Manly on Saturday.
