Brailey seems to be getting alot of high praise around the club. I'm going to assume he plays the first 60mins and seggy will then come on for impact

Yeah hopefully that's the case for at least the first couple of weeks after Seggy cleared to play, then maybe Brailey off the bench for one more price rise before he can GTFO

That was the impression I had. Obviously haven't been actually watching Sharks training with my own eyes to confirm our deny though

Seggy to the Sharks has been a done deal since preseason started. Until he physically runs on the field in an NRL match I'm not worried about him taking Brailey's job

Agreed! He's making money in the meantime and there are bigger fish to fry in the interim. I'll cross that bridge if/when I have to

In hindsight I reckon James Hoopers "scoop" about Seggy signing the night before round 1, he was deliberately having a laugh trying to panic all the NRLF and SC players

Glad I kept Kenny B too.. Definitely getting more minutes than last year. Surely 80 mins isn't going to be the norm though?

hopefully the rhinos hold firm on their transfer fee, and then segs gets injured after the sharks pay it.

that would make me feel good Twisted Evil

any thoughts on simpkins as a potential cow? theres maybe 40-50 minutes in the front row after james+wallace get through.
the mins are probably shared between simpkins and peteru. i would put his security above hoare, but below pkaufs. his scoring wont be too flash.
but theres not much else available to downgrade

So looks as though Hess is going to be on the bench - 50 to 55 minutes is what he will get and this will be his role for the year unless injuries strike. Could still average around 40 in that time.
Fensom will start playing 25-30, then off with Lowe to move into lock until the 55-60 minute mark. Fensom to come back on then and play out the game. Lowe done for the night.

Bolton, Kaufusi, Asiata and 1 of Spina/Hoare/Jenson/Uale to rotate through the FRF.

When Lolo returns I expect Fensom to stay in the side over Spina/Hoare/Jenson/Uale so I think those getting Hoare in are wasting a trade unless an injury happens again.

What are you basing these assumptions on?

Let's not forget how injury prone coote used to be, I'm hoping his out a little longer than reported. who knows,  Ponga might be back later in the year if cootey goes down again.
I'm backing him to average 40 odd , 1 trade for me this week

He scored 34 and 14 in his two games last year apparently

Still, I think anyone who Went McInnes or McCullough will be happy with their decision.
They are currently making cash almost as quick As Brailey, it will be a whole before Brailey owners can make an easy upgrade.
And the McHookers have been putting up some great scores in the meantime

They were on the wing though. He should score better at fullback.
    Job security is the issue

I don't think they will keep it up. For McInnes to continue making cash at the same rate as Brailey he would need to continue outscoring Smith's best season. Either we are seeing the start of the next fantasy gun or McInnes is going to slow down

I'm pretty happy with McInnes/Smith at this stage but you'd be stoked if you went down the McInnes/Brailey road which I know some in here did. Good shot.

    Moeroa to Hess
    Hayne to RJenn

    Give me an extra 40k

Pull the trigger or back away?

I think Finucane had reduced minutes. Not sure why though.

    Got a source for this?

I still think this is bigger news than Hess starting in the 2RF. Tempted to bring them both in and keep Elgey another week.

The gap between Brailey and the gun hookers will close.
But unless Brailey picks up his scoring there will still be a big gap at his peak.
And if you are playing Brailey in your 17 there's a big gap in scores. You can make that up with the extra cash, but after 2 rounds the hookers are looking like reliable scorers

Pretty sure it was because of the extra substitute for munsters injury
