After being dead against Hess he becomes rather hard to resist with that reshuffle (though obviously LOLO will return to #13 in two weeks).

The gap between Brailey and the gun hookers will close.
But unless Brailey picks up his scoring there will still be a big gap at his peak.
And if you are playing Brailey in your 17 there's a big gap in scores. You can make that up with the extra cash, but after 2 rounds the hookers are looking like reliable scorers
At this stage it definitely looks like starting Smith McInnes was better for scoring. Gotta find a lot of cash to upgrade Brailey after round 15 if he lasts that long

On the plus side for Hess buyers, if he averaged something like 40 over the next couple weeks you pretty much have a free chance to see what his role is when Lolo comes back without fear of losing any money.
I.e. he hits 40 this week and next and reaches $370k then hits a 30 and still rises a bit more to $374.
One would have to think that is about worst case scenario barring injury.

The way i see it is some risks need to be taken throughout the year to have any chance of winning overall and that is what makes Fantasy so enjoyable !
I personally think Hess is worth that Risk. Time will tell though.

nothing definitive. Turgess and Cherrington drop off, so Talakai is still in the mix. But surely Jennings holds his spot...

Ah shit,
Everyone has me questioning not trading in Hess, anymore.
It is fast money, but I do reckon that with Fensom and Taumalolo in competition, it is short lived. If Elgey to Lamb was not on the cards I would trade in both of them.
FWIW I expect Hoare to peak around 350k this year. It is a long-term trade, but I will be looking in anguish when or if Hess goes big these next two weeks

That's what people said about Talakai last week.
Either Papalii - Hoare or
Hayne - WFb Cheapie (RJennings/TRD)
But have to decide soon

I've bitten the bullet on Hoare.
Perhaps spurious reasoning but Green was talking him suggesting he's a chance at a starting birth down the line.
I am wary of getting 'PPM Kings' for their tendency to disappoint, but don't really want to play WFB roulette either.

FWIW the next couple of weeks aside, I expect Hoare will average 35 minutes and score 30-35s, so still making decent cash, but I'm waiting until next week and getting Hess this week

Hoare will be like another Musgrove hitting the low 30s consistently I reckon is $151,000 starting tag is extremely appealing

Yep, with that article on NRL confirming it (no way the coach mentions him by name and then doesn't play him right) will be Hoare getting the gig, I'm committing.
