To me there is not much if any downside. You use 1 trade extra than going straight to gun. However you do get that value back. With the common perception a trade is worth 100k, he will make you minimum 50k worst case scenario. However that doesnt factor in his extra scoring. For me he is in starting 17 instead of kelly. 12 points extra in average you would reckon in hess's favor. Every point scored over a season is worth about $395. So for you to get your 100k worth just ask yourself, will running hess score you an extra 125 points playing in your 17 during the time it would of taken you to scrounge the money to upgrade someone else.

Honestly its probably borderline, but if he picks up more minutes for a 45 average or even jags 1 big game in the next couple of weeks for a bogger price bump cou come out ahead and are laughing.

I've made some bold predictions that have been pretty shithouse this week. I will put my hand up, I traded in McGuire and TRD. Assumed Hess wouldn't start but was proven wrong big time. Would have got Robert Jennings and Hess instead if I had known but tough luck.

Best to just take it on the chin and avoid being Captain hindsight.

Just logged into my team and Elgey looks so satisfied smiling there with a 30 next to his name. Fuckwit was up to 36 at one point with so much time to go, ugh.

269/5 with Captain. Included Elgey and Moga though. Looks like Wallce will even out to be a 40 point player.

I predicted that this would happen (don't remember if I posted anything prior) so either I'm some kind of genius or I've been extremely lucky which is part of what this game is all about.

What I'm not happy about is the amount of bad advice been given to coaches here based on nothing but all personal opinion. I'd much rather people here start taking my prediction and advice and flame me afterwards if it doesn't come off. Either way you should listen to what I'm saying.

Anyway my advice for this week:

Trade in Hoare instead of Hess (if you don't have either of them yet).

408/8 captain played. Got hit with Norman out this week so happy jogging 30s with Elgey and Jacks.

Fifita, McInnes, sironen, mata'utia, tommy turbo, Dylan Walker, cotric, suli and 1 of Yates, Winterstein and Kelly to go. Leaning towards Yates and hoping to hit 750 from here. I can live with that given no Norman this week. Just need manly to compete with turbo and walker scoring tries.

318/7 with Smith(c). Up shits creek this week, looking set for a tumble down the rankings. Was coming.

I would bring in Hess, apart from injury should score 40 and make 40k this week right. Hoare is a wait and see is he not, much like abbey etc. out of the four rookies to play this weekend I dnt think anyone would be bringing them in on the back of those performances. Abbey will be lucky to be there next week he was that bad and if it wasn't for the warriors being so shit and giving the game to the bulldogs then I suspect Morris would be at fullback and another winger brought in. Are you gone troppo? You could still hit 750 if brailey, ET, Lamb hit close to 50s. Your problem is you have a lot of midrangers such as moeroa. To not play musgrove is a lot of coin sitting outside the 17. Holding Hayne. Norman out hurts a lot so I guess you had to play Elgey.

Cheers to SI and Awanamafia for helping talk me out of my Siro to Wallace trade. Sitting on a 77k bank rather than 2k, and pretty sure Siro will go close to Wallace's score anyway.

I made another dumbass move instead, not so much bringing Abbey in, but playing him over Uate. That's on me though, and still remains to be seen whether Uate can crack 16+ against the Cows.
