I don't think Hess is a keeper neither a good option as a cash cow if you don't have him already.

Another reason is because I've been burned before with another Cowboys 2RF in the past with Ethan Lowe.  I'm worried that the Cowboys will eventually use Hess as a dummy runner. Do me a favour and please quote me if this ever happens.

Holy shit, he actually does sound like he knows what he is talking about. He just needed to use his words all along.

I'm going to pass on Hess, something just doesnt feel right at his price. Save a trade and see what happens going forward. Surely there will be more opportunity.

As a Thurston owner in NRL Fantasy I'm hoping the Cowboys run riot, especially if DCE doesn't play. Ponga vs Tommy Trbo will also be an exciting match up.

What are your Fantasy credentials? What are your previous rankings and what is your team name? You are the one that asked us to critique you on them. We can't if you don't provide them. And for the record, I would actually love them all to be really high finishes so I could have some faith in your predictions.

As a Manly fan I hope DCE plays and scores well in a Manly victory.

As someone who is your opponent in FF Elite, I hope he doesn't, and Ponga scores 7 tries.

i'm not sure about this, the backrow have big minutes in them. but last week chricton went around for 48 mins?

don't remember what happened last week, but it looked like turner only played 60mins and surgess only 65. so thats 25 extra minutes chrict was on for
(if you assume surg goes for 70), bringing it down to 23mins. so it would be a risk for mine. in saying that i hope he gets game time, really could use another price rise

I have this gut feeling that our matchup (along with a few of my others) is going to come down to a massive swing either way in Suli vs Cotric

It would be a shame because if the guy actually gave good fantasy advice or constructive criticism (I wouldn't have a clue if he does or not, I only ever see him making fun of people for their choices), then he would be a great asset to this forum.

But if he wants to whinge that nobody take his advice which is essentially "Hoare over Hess- just believe me because I am great at this", I am going to call him out every time.

Don't judge me by critiquing me as a person, critique me by my performance in fantasy.

Do you take advice from someone's who is genuinely good at making predictions so far or just a nice guy that you know? You do want to win right?

Lots of people ask and take my advice and I am shithouse with Fantasy predictions.

Thought D. Saifiti would be a decent pick up. Though C. Hess and J. Wallace were dud picks.

I am leaning towards playing Cotric for stability.

The Abbey pick was disappointing this week, I will shift him over to the NPRs as I do expect him to improve.
Thank God for Gutherson keeping my team's avg score up.
Now to work out who to bring into the 3rd WFB spot next week... Holmes, Slater or ???

Are you gone troppo? You could still hit 750 if brailey, ET, Lamb hit close to 50s. Your problem is you have a lot of midrangers such as moeroa. To not play musgrove is a lot of coin sitting outside the 17. Holding Hayne. Norman out hurts a lot so I guess you had to play Elgey.

Yeah mate thats me. In hindsight its easy to say i should have probably gone moeroa to hess but im looking nore towards downgrading him to upgrade elsewhere. Didnt want to jump to any of thw cows forwards without seeing them.

As you said musgrove is a lot of money outside 17 but i started the year unsure of brailey and wanted some safety there. Brailey is going to need to be dealt with soon anyway if seggy isnt far off.

Abbey was just a swap for pythian so it cost a trade but not much else. Though with hayne and rts sidelined i had to play him.

Still thinking ill wait a little on hayne. Reckon hes back sooner rather than later.

Norman out obvs hurt alot of us.

Im really hoping that ET repays the faith this weekend. Need a reasonably tight game where hes not banged up to see if JT actually intends to play him for 80.

I am still hopeful that as long as Des does not drop Abbey he might still come good for a few price rises. As people mentioned during the game, he was always looking eager and sniffing around the ruck. Next week he might sneak some attacking stats against Manly, make a cool 30 points and his 16 this week will be long forgotten history as his owners rejoice. It is a bit early to call him a dud after one game. If he gets dropped he will be a dud.

That said, I will never play him in my 17 again even if he gets a meaty

"But please forget I said this if it doesn't" right? Same old shit from you.

Please post your Fantasy credentials as that is what you asked to be judged on. Otherwise we can only continue to play what is in front of us. Even if you finished last in Fantasy last year, that would still be better than using your posting style as an indicator. Team name would be nice as well so we can try to mimic this year's team, "because we want to win right?"

Hearing the weather in and around Newcastle is shit. Anyone on here live in Newy to confirm this? Wet track could be good for blokes like Barnett and Surgess if they just play up the middle all game. Also don't Souths usually perform well in the wet?
