He's always been a really poor scorer at fullback before, but yes did look stronger this last week.

haha, just checked my second team that I have as a 'muck around no thought process' type of team and it got 783 as opposed to my main team that got 684. Also my junk team is 4500 places higher than my main real team. Beer

I think I might persist, if for no other reason than the lack of good options at his price.

Even in last year's Farah-less game where he averaged 45, there was still a 10 in there stinking things up.

One of the problems yesterday, was even in the first 20 minutes when the Tigers were on top, Moses just wasn't getting points, despite playing fairly well. he'd put in some good attacking kicks that forced drop outs, just needed a little but of luck and one of them might have been a try assist. So if that continues its not a good sign.
Then after about 25 minutes the Tigers dropped their bundle and the missed tackles and general craptosity set in.

I'll back the Tigers to bounce back against Melbourne. Might not win but won't get done by 50. So I might hold on and let the points roll in when the Tigers have their mid-season revival.
Might even get the new-coach bonus bump if we're lucky

I posted pre season that the Tigers had a very tough early draw & I couldn't see Moses doing very well & when the Tigers get dominated that Moses will produce too many negative points mainly through missed tackles & silly errors.

I like you Milch and you are a good fantasy coach who provides fantastic fantasy advice but Moses is killing me mate, I had same thought process because there is no one around his price I like, I do have CWalker with his DPP telling me to dump Moses for Ponga and ride him until Jayne returns

    Short-lived excitement until TLT.

22k short of Siro to Whitehead in 1 trade, think I'll give it another week and play Yates over Siro.

Suli now emerging as the one to fund it with Talakai likely to cash up some more.

Hingano, FWinter, Kelly and Jennings still have cash to make and I'd rather not have so many wingers in my squad anyway.. Uate and Cotric are going well and will probably make up my back 3 this week along with RTS.

Slater is tempting, but his price doesn't really fit in my plans and I'm still wary of his injuries. I started last year with him and things didn't go too well with my trades after his Rd 1 injury.

Only real dead spot is Leota.. Was happy with 23 in Rd 1, but not sure when we'll see him again. Sam Hoare looked a good candidate, but didn't exactly instill me with confidence.. 31 mins is promising though and unfortunate to be part of a badly beaten Cowboys side.

So unless TLT announces a basement FR with job security or yet another back (fun times), I think my hands are kinda tied this week.

Although the cows in the back do make some quick cash...

    a 138k rookie scoring 30pnts avg makes

    50k after 3 weeks
    100k after 6 weeks
    135k after 10 weeks

You all need to settle down and reconsider your trades because they are merely knee jerk trades.

Slater has never been a great player fantasy wise and this is his last season. Are you sure you want to use up to trade just to trade him out during Origin?

    Just remember that
    a) You traded Moses in for a reason
    b) even if you trade him out this week, the 5 will still count in your score

If I trade him out, it will likely be for Slater, to free up cash for some better team improvements

Agreed, that scenario if anything is more a line break.

With the TB definition, it seems at the moment that if you bounce out of a tackle and continue on, but are then tackled by the same tackler again then it is not a TB.  I tend to agree with this, but pretty sure it is not how it has been the last couple of years.

Normally in season's past, if a player dropped off a tackle but then came back and completed the tackle then it would still be counted as a missed tackle and then a tackle, and hence a TB to the ball carrier.
I haven't seen Prozoneman around this year, if he's reading this I only hope he can give us some accurate definitions of what constitutes a TB and missed tackle, where are you PZman

    Now back to the beach

Yeah I'm not going to trade him in, just that he's tempting if he were to play 80 at FB and Storm keep feeding him touches, perhaps to their own detriment. Just doesn't fit in my plans at his price, and could mean missing out on JBrom or Whitehead.. and I've been burned enough by backs to trust forwards a lot more.

So team for this week is:

    Smith, McInnes
    Fifita, AFB
    McGuire, Wallace, Sione, Faufusi, Yates
    Norman, Johnson, Jacks
    Walker, Cotric
    Turbo, RTS, Ponga

Think I have 9 keepers here and possibly Sione in the centres if he picks up.

Just got to play the waiting game Kelly, Moga, Suli, TRD, Elgey and Frankenstein as they all have potential to make more money.

I Papalii and Leota stinking up the joint but might just sit on them for now.

Yeah the players don't dislike him but want a new direction & apparently Woods, Tedesco, Moses & Brooks won't sign as they feel this way. It looks like he could be out.
