Trading out Suli is just the opposite of chasing points.

He put up a bad score against a team that routine scores 50 points against the Tigers. His previous 2 scores were OK.

If anyone gets dropped from the Tigers backs it should be Naiqama. He is just too much of a defensive liability.

So many teams have roughly the same backs, a combo of Idris, Moga, Hayne, Suli, Talakai, RTS, Cotirc, Abbey, hayne. With a POD semi/gun Guth, Tedesco, TTurbo.

Im seeing people post there teams up asking for help with these sort of players in their 17. And the general response is, "your backs are good, focus on your forwards".

Ill put my hand up and say that my backs are as above. And I want to upper cut myself every time I look them. They aren't scoring points to warrant them in the 17, and they aren't making (much) cash, that's even if they are getting a run.

I cant help but feel running these backs any longer is going to F me in the A in the long run.

Moses has to go doesn't he? He was fucking horrendous against the Raider just zero attacking intent apart from some pretty shit chip and chases, looks lost when I thought the Tigers would start the season flying

    Don't understand the Slater love.
Don't understand getting rid of Suli.

Ponga is probably one I will just have to miss out on.
Capewell, I can't afford the trade this week so will probably not see him in my team this season either.

I am doing well saving my trades so far this year!
Love having those trades free at the back-end of the season!

Haven't heard much talk of Alex Johnson as a possible candidate for a trade. Great scores at FB and still under 300K i think. What's the theory on this possible trade this week. He has some stiff opposition in the next 5 weeks, that could be his only downfall.

This was mentioned a fair bit prior to lockout, Forwards score more consistently yes but gun wfb just gives you that confidence going into rounds, it's fucking painstaking watching games and hoping your cashie wfb can grab a try to take their score above 25! Locked in CWalker last week and it eases the mind seeing him back there helping out RTS

I've figured the key to getting ahead is as many gun pod backs as possible as everyone pretty much has the same back line at this stage

Do Ponga keep his place? I mean he looked good at looked dangerous every time he touched the ball but the Boys got spanked by Manly surely he is first in line to get dropped with the way Green has been treating him

i had him on my radar, but after his price rise this week, can't justify it. he either has to reach 400k, or become a keeper for you to bring him in at this point. neither of which i believe he is capable of.

He's just about the only fit back they have after Saturday

Short term at least his position is secure.

It's all about making money early in the season & all the cash cows were in the backs round 1. Fair enough they didn't score so well this round or were injured/not selected but the strategy was sound.

    Who Fuckin knows.

My plan was hopefully one of the cashies turned into a semi keeper, harvest the rest, enough to upgrade Braiely to Mcinnes around rd9 and bring in Croker to sit with Smat or Aubo.

Now, I think im going to have to sit tight, hope that jacks and Brailey maintain scores that make good money, giving me the option to down grade Kbrom or Siro to upgrade to Croker or someone reliable in the Centres.

But in all likelihood, ill panic trade and bring in another quick fix that ends up sucking arse and wasting my time and trade

I'm not too concerned about using a few trades early on... I did my origin prep... got 10/11 players for round 12 so far

Oh, I understand the strategy, and don't blame people for following it. But 3 rounds in, the players don't even look like threating a big score. My point is more at what stage do you cut your loses, and what's the escape strategy?
