No new cows this week it seems. Capewell looking a popular choice by default. Looks a keen footballer but job security is an issue

I'll take you up on that:

How to milk enough money for the upcoming Fwd trades (Whitehead, Bodene, JBrom, McInnes etc) from this:

    Smith, Brailey
    James, Wallace, Hoare, Yates
JDB, Surgess, FKaufusi, Siro, Elliot, Yates, SMat
    Pearce, Lamb, Jacks, Field,
    Cotric, TTurbo, Kelly, Idris
    RTS, French, Slater, Suli, Hayne

Current cash in bank is $32K after this weeks trades of Slater (Moga) and Jacks (Elgey) - cost me about 20K
work out where you think the cows will peak at in price...work out where the trade ins will bottom out in price then prioritise who you want in first, be it for points or for money saving.

i.e siro should make some more cash this weekend unless he has another stinker, Whitehead should lose some more so you pay less for the trade, but if you did the trade this week Whitehead will likely get you more points this round

I think next week depending how guys go you can look at a cashout of Wallace and Siro to another cow/to a gun (Most likely Whitehead).

Definitely use Milchcow's price predictor to get an idea of when players are likely to peak.

An example of some guys and when they should peak.

    J. Wallace (2-3 weeks until peak - $370k mark)
    J. Brailey (4+ weeks until peak - $310k mark)
    L. Yates (4 weeks - $270k mark)
    S. Hoare (He has potentially peaked. Should improve though.)
    F. Kaufusi (5 weeks - $360k mark [Reliant on Tohu Harris return])

This is why I've dumped elgey (vs Hess). I don't own Hess, but I don't see it going well...

Yeah I'm getting him based on this but I'm short by 20k so I have to downgrade elsewhere. I could go Suli to Capewell & move Sione to the ctrs but I'm not entirely convinced that Capewell is a safe pick. One bad game & he could be out of the 17 with Feki & Beale lurking.

Stinkbug wrote:Is anyone concerned about Fifita? I knowhe's averaging 50 and had some dumb penalties last game but JDB is looking solid at the moment - would such a move be too sideways?
    Most definitely its sideways.
The only way you should consider that is if Fifita makes origin and JDB doesn't, barring injury or suspension obviously.
I feel they have changed the definition of a tackle bust and Fifita is suffering due to this.
Generally, scores appear lower this year.

Here is where it gets tricky. lol!

I have Kata and Gagai in the CTRs. I lost GI in the first week so WFB is Slater, Fusitua and Fergo (picked up Lolohea as cover).

Backs on the wire include Talakai, Boyd, Lafai.. so slim pickings.

Anyone else get that warm fuzzy feeling when lockout lifts and you can purge all those nasty demons from your team?

Then a week rolls around and you have to do it all over again. Much like the movie - The Purge. Thats how I felt with Moga and Elgey.

Depends how aggravated it looks, and if it is itching or burning. Also how long you have had it for. However you should probably consult your GP to review it.
