But for real Brailey still has a negative BE so still has some decent coin to make and is a hold. Seggy could very well only play 30 mins for the first 2-3 weeks after he has been cleared to play (which is not the case at this point in time). Brailey = hold for now and milk the $$$.

Not at all, I feel I might be pulling the trigger a bit early with my projected trades. I have decided on 1 definite trade, but undecided on a second one as it is one that can be made next week but I am worried about further injuries and I will need the extra cash....don't like having just 10k ITB

Ive only got 50k in the bank, I might post up my team later, had a quick look but I could downgrade Suli to Cornish and upgrade Sironen to Whitehead or Hess.

What I would like to do is downgrade Sironen and get Gutherson/Walker. I also have ET but he's not a worry as much as shoring up some CTRS/WFBs are.

I imagine people are more concerned as who they will replace him with in their 17 in fear of a 30min stint getting him 20 points or so.

Thinking of Moses > Norman and Suli > Gutherson. Silly to get 2 halves from the same team?

I predict Siro will score 27 which 2 less than BE so guess he will drop $1k maybe. Just rough number in my head Whitehead will lose $17k with score of 40 and $10k with 50 but only would play one of them in my 17.

Only other trade I'm considering is maybe Hayne>Ponga but will he be gone in a week? Have used first trade on Koro>Jacks

Looks good to me. I have both Norman and Gutherson.
I'm currently playing Gutherson in my WFB

And as we saw this week, when Norman is out injured... Gutherson picks up the extra points.

Aretl they boh going into the HLFs? Im a little superstitious with that, never played two players in the same position. If Gutherson is WFB I say go for it. Bad juju if you move him to the halves though

How many games do people think capewell gets to make some cash? Worth dumping ET for him?

At the moment Guth would be in my WFB (though I've got Semi, so that's still 2 Eels in my starting wfb) - Leaves me with halves of Norman, Lamb, Jacks & Elgey. WFB of Guth, Semi, RTS, Abbey, TRD.

Also having Eels for the Bye rounds is a good thing

Take the first choice halfback out of any team and they'll struggle. Except maybe the Tigers. McCrone doesn't count for the Dragons.

As for the Raiders well Croker's leadership definitely helps but the return of Whitehead to the back-row also helps strengthen the defence of that occasionally poor right edge. Will get a better indication when they take on a team like the Broncos how much better they perform.

No. He could be dropped for Beale. ET is making his BE with injury reduced minutes

My next question about cashing in on players. It seems way to early in the season to bring in NPRs, even if its for DPP purposes. Im currently looking at dropping both Kbrom and Siro in the next 2 weeks. Probably one this week, one next week. But there are no legit options that are worth dropping to. IMO.

Apparently he got injured on the weekend, although I don't know the extent of the injury.

Yeah, I've given it a thought. Just don't want to back myself in a corner too early, cashing in and building list of red dots or single figure scores. It wont be a problem if the players I upgrade to perform and stay fit. Which In reality is F'n never.

Best squad top 17 I could come up with (playing only these 17 and filling the rest of your squad with nuffies, not making any trades

    McCulloch (Brailey)
    Vaughan, McGuire (Wallace, Faufusi)
    JDB, Papali'i, Thompson (Hess)
    Johnson, Jacks
    Aubusson, Cotric
    Gutherson, Nofoaluma, Suli

Gives you 2621 points and about 100 points ahead of the overall leader as well as $200k in the kitty/spent on improving your 18-25.

Also, you would've made $1,045,000 in price increases.

Sounds like Segey to be named today and most likely play this week.

Can't play until his contract is registered and given the go ahead by the NRL.
