Going from Sironen to JDB is expensive but going from a keeper to a keeper just because they average higher at this point in the season is stupid. You will want both in your side come seasons end anyway.TBO wrote:
I was following Gallens plays quite closely in that game on the weekend and it just seems like he's not as involved in the tackles as previous years. He also isn't a 80 min player anymore to top it off so I think there are better players around his price with a higher average. Going straight from a cashie to JDB is quite expensive.

Showbags wrote:Thoughts on Siro to Surgess trade this week? Will trade him in eventually and he is about as cheap as he is gonna get, got enough cash in the bank to do straight upgrade. Leaves me short of cash but it should only cosh me $150k to do the rest of my planned trades over the next 3 weeks. So need to cash out a couple of cheapies, just so I don't lose momentum on this, I am looking at cashing out 1 of Suli, Moga or Elgey this week.
KBrom to Whitehead for 35k
Kaufusi to Bodene for 70k
Wallace to JBrom for 30k
Planned trades of
Siro to Surgess
Elgey to Cornish
anythig I am overlooking in these trades?
I'm thinking the exact same. Get rid of Siro and bring in Surgess. His break even is 55 which he can hit easily.

Is it bad that I don't think I need to trade this week? My CTRS are a bit of a mess but until I can harvest some money, there's not much I can do. Sitting at 77 overall so I wanna save trades to get through origin.

Not at all, I feel I might be pulling the trigger a bit early with my projected trades. I have decided on 1 definite trade, but undecided on a second one as it is one that can be made next week but I am worried about further injuries and I will need the extra cash....don't like having just 10k ITB

The twists and turns continue. If and when seggy does get a spot, i think he will be an impact player off the bench. No need stress yet, just start thinking about a brailey upgrade soon.

Is having too much cash at this stage a problem? I have almost 600k in the bank

Just worried my team may be a little weak but I'm saving for the inevitable upgrades to McInnes,Bromwich etc

Cash coming from either Hess or ET, depending on who steps up over the coming weeks. Will mean a weak 4th reserve after my other planned trades until I cash out some more cows. Invested my upgrade cash in Hess last week, no point it sitting their doing nothing when it can earn interest

But why? It isnt necessarily bad as long as you have guns or other guys making cash. However surely you have some underperformers you could upgrade or you could bring in a gun or two for your cashcows. At this stage a final 17 would look like..
C. Smith (C. McInnes)
A. Fifita, J. Bromwich
J. de Belin, S. Mannering, S. Burgess
C. Norman, S. Johnson
M. Aubusson, S. Mata'Utia
J. Tedesco, R. Tuivasa-Scheck, T. Trbojevic
Then guys like P. Vaughn, P. Gallen, J. Graham, J. McGuire, B. Thompson, E. Whitehead. To round out the team.
(I know there are other potential guys that would make final 17s such as McCullough, Dugan, Gutherson, ect.)

Yep, expect them to put 60 on whoever they play before continuing to phone it in. As is rugby league tradition
That's a Rugby League myth. Raiders sacked their coach a few years ago and lost all 4 remaining games.
However historically the Tigers match up very well against the Storm. Last year they lost a game by one point and another they scored the same amount of tries but crap goal kicking let them down.

Based on the NRL rejecting the Titans bid to play Copley, the Sharks are best off naming Seggy if they think they might have him registered

Tigers also have a great record at Leichhardt against The Storm. Several big wins there

So unfortunately for JT, basically one more week might have saved him from the Centrelink queue...

Yeah that's true,I might be hanging on to a few too many cows/nuffies. Should I ditch ET now for mannering Merrin or buhrer? I'm tossing up between those 3

It's interesting how teams perform a certain way against a certain opponent... sometime despite current form

Also... does the Raiders win connect to the return of Croker? ...and does the Eels loss connect to the absence of Norman?
