I wonder if I should sell Siro to a 138k nuffie so I have some cash in the bank ready to jump on new trains like Seggy, JBrom and Whitehead in the next couple of weeks.

Brailey should be around the same price as Seggy after this week.

Some random thoughts;
Suli - is 18 yo. He will end up back in u20's, sooner rather than later. Even though he signed for a motza, first grade is no place to learn your trade.
Brailey - living on borrowed time with Seggy back. Has been a good investment to now, but start making contingency plans.
Hess - will be the next back row gun. Off the bench or not. If you haven't got him, get him. He is a monster.
Slater - best value player in fantasy. If he stays fit, he is gold at 217k.
Gallen - talk of trading him out now is silly. You'll only be trading him back in later when we get to the business end.
Sironen - complete dud.
Crichton - trap. He'll get one week starting 2nd row and probably won't play close to 80 anyway.
McInnes - AC joint injury coming up.
There you have it. Thank me later

Ponga - relying on injuries. He might find a spot on the wing. Next year for me.

I've executed some trades, post advice received;
- FRF: Shannon Boyd for Felise Kaufusi
- SRF: Jai Arrow for Luke Yates
I've freed up some cash now to buy a better FRF next week. I was thinking Jesse Bromwich? Or is Paul Vaughan a better option? Cheers!
I wanted to suggest going Boyd to Felise after thinking on it more, so I'm liking that one a lot.
I was hoping Lima to Yates would be possible, but ended up being a few thou short. I do like Yates, but wondering if Arrow to Yates is a little bit sideways?
Yates is getting the minutes over Arrow so far - Yates 48 mins scoring 35. Arrow only 25 mins for a 26 average.
It's still an improvement, and Arrow's breakeven is around that 22 mark.. just a little hesitant with him playing and perhaps benefiting from a midgame injury (like Yates did a little bit last game) and Lima/Stimson/Don not looking like they'll help out much.
Any word on how long Don is out for?

Yates only got extra minutes last week due to injuries, but has been a good 30 point scoring backup option.

Picking Yates to start the year over the other base price forwards was a great call based pretty much on "training the house down".
A "training the house down" success story, if you will.

Capewell is a worry when Feki is back. The more I look at him, the less attractive he is.
AFB - permanent mid ranger. Average 37 over the year.

Mate trying to offload Sironen and your saying no1 is an option?
Capewell, AFB and Chricton probably the best options that I can see.

I don't have the greatest confidence in Capewells security, but Feki is in the starting side this week.
It seems only Beale or Lee could push him out.
Beale is a mud footballer so maybe capewell can hold his spot.
The biggest problem for Capewell is Holmes going to FB full time.

Is it a good idea to trade out ET for Smat? Just for a bit more cash?

All sideways imo. Can you put the R on someone else and wait a week? Siro might fire up for a week with the news of Taylor's demise - just out of spite

Wait to see what ET does this week. With new coach he might end up getting 80 mins and will be a serious hold.

because of his size and raw ability he could easily bust out a 20 point try but with a hard matchup this week against the Storm he could get very easy exposed.
Conscious of seeing many underperforming guns at the moment and realising that it might be better to have a lot of cash stored and doing two upgrades in 1 round to try bring them in at their low point rather than do 1 per round as it might be hard to get the necessary cash with 1 downgrade each round and after bringing in say Whitehead and JBrom there will be guys like Gallen/Podene looking vert tempting but it might be hard to wrangle the cash before the start to pick up again and get back out of reach
