So I'm thinking on bringing in Hess & Ponga. To bring in Hess I'm selling Sione. The Knights game plan is to attack down Buhrer's edge & the only time Sione gets a good score is when he gets attacking stats & other than that he rarely sees a lot of traffic. To bring in Ponga I'm selling Suli who I think won't reach his b/e of 18 this week against the Storm & I can see Wests getting thrashed again. Sure these are risky moves but I believe Hess will score well regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench. I think Ponga will make enough cash to move on to Slater in a couple of weeks. I read that O'Neill is out for 6-8 weeks & even if Coote is back next week I think Ponga will go to the wing. There doesn't seem to be much info coming out re Coote's injury so I don't know why it's so hush hush. These moves will give me the following team this week.

    Smith, Brailey
    Fifita, Wallace, F. Kaufusi (Musgrove)
JDB, Surgess, McGuire, Hess (Winterstein, Yates)
    SJ, Lamb, Jacks (Field)
    Talakai, Kelly (Cotric, Idris)
    RTS, Gutherson, Ponga (Abbey, Phythian)

If I trade out ET I can replace him with Aubusson and dump moga for Smat and have 270k left over. Does that sound like a good idea? My 2nd row consists of JDB Surgess and Hess with Yates and winsterstein the nprs. Centres I have Kelly moga R.Jennings and idris

Yeah it was discussed briefly yesterday. On one hand he has covered himself in case of a career ending injury, yet on the other hand he has locked himself into a club that could struggle once Thurston retires. Also what will the salary cap look like in 5-6 years let alone 8-10 years. Could be on unders come the back end of his career.

All sideways imo. Can you put the R on someone else and wait a week? Siro might fire up for a week with the news of Taylor's demise - just out of spite lol!

Only options are Frankenstein, Elgey, Moga, Kelly, Suli and TRD. All crap. Can't rely on Siro either I don't think, Bulldogs will have big Sam bunting him off for 5 missed tackles in 20 mins. Not to mention Beastwood.

Would go AFB but at least Chricton plays round 12. So does capewell but he wouldn't solve my 4th reserve problem.

    It's in here: http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/league/90722671/no-warmup-game-necessary-for-kieran-foran-says-warriors-coach-stephen-kearney

"Kearney is also waiting on the availability of captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, who has been named in the team but still needs to pass a concussion test before he is given the green light to return.

Tuivasa-Sheck was a late withdrawal from last week's defeat to the Bulldogs after failing to recover from the head knock he suffered the week before against Melbourne.

The fullback trained with the squad on Wednesday but is scheduled to visit the doctor on Thursday for a final clearance."

Is having both Aubusson and Smat too much? Want to get rid of moga or should I persist?

So RTS hasn't passed his concussion test yet because the test isn't until Thursday.

Trying to create a story out of nothing.

I think RTS will play. However I can't believe as a professional he doesn't know how to tackle. He can't tackle to save himself. He misses a lot of one on one tackles & when he got injured a couple of weeks ago he put his head in the wrong place. He seriously needs someone to teach him the basics or else he'll keep on getting knocked out.

What to do with this Seggy news? Affects my plans moving forward so what strategy to take

    A) Trade Siro out for Crichton or maybe even P Kaufusi to start building some cash. Couple more weeks of that I can trade out some money makers and get McInnes or Macca.

    B) Just go with my original trade of Siro to Whitehead. Leaves me only 12k but I get a cut price keeper I really want anyway. Worry about Brailey later when I start trading out peaked cows.

    C) Just keep Sironen and wait for things to play out for another week.

Might trade in Macca instead of McInnes just to make Welshy squirm.

Aubusson would be in the 2RF though as I would be trading ET for him. Good idea or not?
