Sold moses for cash and now I have 395k to upgrade Brailey and Siro to the usual suspects.

Assuming Whitehead is 367k next week, McInnes is 557k, Brailey is 250k and Siro is 276k I'm 3k short of doing both trades.

    Do I'
    a) make a second trade this week to ensure I'm ok,
    b) hold brailey another week so he can close the gap further
    c) hope I find that 3k in whitehead dropping further and brailer/siro making more money than I anticipate?

Still no reason Macca can't play 80. He could move to lock while Moose is off.

I was going to say (c) until I saw Sironen was part of the equation & I can't see Sironen improving enough for you so I'd pick option (b) because if Brailey hits another 40 point score he should have another low b/e the following week. What might help you re McInnes is that they are playing the Warriors. McInnes scores the bulk of his points through his tackle count & if the Dragons dominate the Warriors & have most of the possession then his tackle count with suffer. But you also have to hope McInnes doesn't get any attacking stats.

whitehead will not dramatically increase in price until that 18 and 2 is out of the system.

yea but you don't always want to bring in a player right at their bottom out point if it will cost you points. is it worth skipping on say a 50 point weekend from him just because he might drop 2k more for example. You get a prize for the most points at the end of the day, not on who was the most fiscally smart

Just reading an article on nrl.com & Foran might start v the Dragons. This will definitely improve the Warriors prospects. Hingano has been going well but he's made a few silly errors lately.

How many of you have recently woken up in the morning, looked at your team and instantly hated it, and everything about it.

    Smith, Brailey
    Wallace, Vaughan, Fkafusi, Yates
Gallen, McGuire, JDB, Kbrom, Siro, Stone
    Cronk, Lamb, Elgy, Jacks
    Smat, Moga, Idris,Kelly
    Cotric, Gutherson,RTS, Abbey, Phythian

    Main points of frustration are:
McInnes was the ideal option to start, making money whilst smith is losing and averaging roughly the same.
In general my 13 Is weak, 2rf and Hok okay (for now) my R's are a combo of mids and Cashies.

Obviously this is a grass is green situation, and that these teams are a work in progress. First step is sure up the backs (unless Segy comes in and takes all the minutes of Brailey in the next week or two). Then start strengthing my R's in the forwards.

Going to need this Cows to start mooooing

If I trade out ET I can replace him with Aubusson and dump moga for Smat and have 270k left over. Does that sound like a good idea? My 2nd row consists of JDB Surgess and Hess with Yates and winsterstein the nprs. Centres I have Kelly moga R.Jennings and idris

The early weeks of the season in fantasy are to get the right cows and establish a reasonable money making 25 players, and a reasonable playing 17.
The majority of fantasy coaches went light on WFB/CTR positions with hopes of getting a couple of "keepers"... after 3 weeks of play it has turned out that there haven't been many players living up to our hopes. With round 3 a classic example of ending up having to play unreliable rookies in the 17. I think now is the time to get some security in these positions so you don't lose too many points.

In saying all that, I think it would be wise to either have someone like Smat, Aubs, Tturbo, Dwalker in the centres without having to play 2 of Kelly, Moga, Cotric, Suli, RJennings, Talakai...

I think Smat and Aubs are good players to have in the Centres at the moment with potential to "upgrade" later in the season.

Are you planning to bring Whitehead in next week?

And/or Jbrom and Bodene in the following weeks?

Yeah I'm hoping to bring in whitehead next week possibly at the expense of ET but I'm frustrated by the inconsistency of the CTR position so I thought bringing in one of the aforementioned would help in that regard. I also want to upgrade Brailey possibly as soon as next week so it leaves me in a conundrum as to what my priorities should be. Is ET to Aubusson possibly a sideways trade?

Should I consider playing Kelly over Moga? Kelly will be opposite Montoya and Lee won't he, not the twins? Whereas Moga will be opposite Leipana.

I would start Kelly. Manly at home against easier opponent than Raiders away against a tougher opponent.

So what did we end up deciding on Hoare,PKaufusi,Asiata conundrum
Looking back last year around origin time, Hoare appeared to have the edge on Spina/Kaufusi but looks to rank in the middle of them now. Asiata has always been there as well

Hoare is a PPM king and the quiet week may have fallen at a good time as his price didn't rise much, but will he be first to go next week?

ET to Aubs is a bit sideways, but it will strengthen your Ctrs and is good for Bye coverage

Hey so with Kaysa Pritchard injured does that mean the myth Cameron King might be a chance of playing? I just ask because as much I think Brailey to McInnes/Macca is priority 1 I really don't want to miss out on grabbing some cheap guns either and King playing would help a lot.

I mean buy low, sell high right??? Whitehead, Bodene and Surgess are falling in price while Macca/McInnes are going up. You don't want to miss their scores but you're paying absolute premium for them and eventually they'll come down in price to be more a cost effective buy

Just looking at the top 8 points scorers in fantasy. Who would of thought that in round 4 that 4 of them would be dragons players (McInnes, JDB, Vaughan, J. Thompson) & the top 2 being dragons players (McInnes, JDB).

Joel Thompson surely is an Anomoly, I suggested him early in the season (more of a guess than actual insight) and rightly so got told I was being dumb for even considering him. Does seem to be doing more work this year, but surely no one brings him in.

how's this for radical: sell smith for mcinnes, bank ~70k, mcinnes is on his way to being worth $600k+ while smith will stay there. Bring in smith later when possible.

I can't find anyone ripe enough to really trade out atm..
