As for Hess, congrats to those who have him, in terms of his future is it now a question of whether taumalolo returns as starting prop or lock?

If ET doesn't play 80 this week (if unaffected by injury) he has to be close to a trade out.

I don't think we can judge what he would play in a normal game situation after those first two rounds.

    I'm expecting 80 minutes today.

Hess should jump up about $51k this week (to around $413k). If he scores 35 next week it'll be another $27k-ish rise.

I can't see myself trading out a player that is holding price while there are so many other problems. Fixing the dud backs(Suli, Cotric, Jennings, Talakai, Abbey, TRD), upgrading Brailey to McInnes/McCullough, halves under performing(Elgey, Lamb) while some guns are getting close to bottoming out(JBrom, Whitehead, Mannering, Surgess, Gallen, Cartwright)

So after those 3 weeks (rds 3,4 & 5) he would have made more then 100k by those calculations which was worth the trade in for those who did so.

Yep, based on a conservative score of 35 next week it'd be roughly $120k and an avg of 55 for those 3 rounds. Not bad lol

    yeah very good point.

to be honest I can't see myself trading him out this week.

I very much expect him to bust some big scores in the next few weeks.

Give him time. He started last year slowly too. That Raiders right edge is lethal and Whitehead is key to it. Only his 2nd week back on the edge. He'll come good

Who was that useless bench hooker that the Sharks put on the field for the last 20 mins. Giving away penalties, missing tackles, throwing forward passes. I've never seen such an inept performance in my life & he's obviously only reserve grade quality at best. I noticed as soon as he came on Cronulla lost their way & if the game had of gone on for another 5 mins they would of lost.

You could just about call it now-129 points and 90k in 2 weeks. Glad I 'wasted' the trade Very Happy

I'm glad I wasted the trade too...
ET to Hess has worked out better than expected.
I was thinking of Hess as a quick money grab and easy swap for a gun, but I have a feeling that Hess is going to stay in my team longer than expected.

I did ET to Hess too in a panic trade without really thinking it through at all. Unless ET gets 200 points today it's (sadly) the best trade that I've done.

In other news, look at what you've all done to me!
I can't believe I'm calling Elijah Taylor ET! Luckily he's one of my favourites or this would be completely blasphemous towards the true god that is the original ET.
