Everyone loves a cash garb.
100% I have locked this in already. Smat experiment has failed time to cut losses and improve other parts of team.

Has it failed? Injury restricted game then covering CTR due to Elliot. Looks like 40pts DPP otherwise

Did he not show up? I just read he failed to train, which could mean the same thing, but he didn't come out of the game with any injuries that we know of.

Capewell to Panthers guy to free up cash to go Rennings to Slater. Leaves me with 0k in the bank though but I'll be damn glad to see the back one of my duds. Is no money a bad idea??? Was thinking of punting Elgey but I guess he still has some cash to make and he's got one good attacking game coming up surely.
Also Whitehead will miss a week for suspension. Great trade right? Anyway got Yates, Elgey or Panthers guy as a reserve option. Should be fun

been looking at aubs. not sure if i should rush bringing him in.
if he is a 45point avg player, then he will stabilise around his current price and i can scoop before the byes. same goes with guth. but they sure do make the team look solid

IMO yes it has. The head knocks are a worry, the moving to CTR is also a worry. These were risks we are aware of, and took the risk to oversee. I now don't see that risk worth taking anymore. I brought him in as CTR with DPP to help out and knock out consistent scores. He isn't doing that and I haven't seen enough to provide confidence that 2017 will be any different to 2016. Happy to cut my loses

@Fortitude lol, we need a new stat. concussions per game (cpg) to assess the likelihood of receiving head knocks.
i would have turner up high on that list

Knights players were always a risk unless they're massive proven workhorses like Buhrer. I'm starting to see the upside to selling Sione. Means I got to run with a Cotric/Kelly CTR pairing but I get Slater and 124k in the bank.
I don't know like I said I invest too much time in thinking about these things.

I noticed that too with both Lamb and Sione on the weekend. If something is up with Lamb he's a trade surely. I could go straight to Johnson but would kill my Brailey upgrade kitty money.

Its definitely tempting to bank 180k by downgrading SMAT to THAT Panthers Guy, even though it means sticking with dodgy centres.
SMAT looks like he will sit around his current price. Might find his way up to around 350k..
