I almost made 50k with Hingano... hopefully he'll get a few more games, maybe some attacking stats and that will be a win in my eyes... he's been better than Elgey & Field as a cashcow... I've had him and Jacks from round 1 as my NPR halves.

If Frawley plays this week, does well and steers the Bulldogs to a win, Des might do a reshuffle.

    Team this week
    Smith, Brailey
    Wallace, Vaughan, Fkaufsi, Yates
Gallen, McGuire, JDB, Kbrom, CNH, Stone
    Walker, Cronk, Jacks, Elgy
    Cotric, Kelly, Moga, Idris
    gutherson, RTS, Ponga, Abbey, Phythian

Will watch the HOK situation at the sharks over the next few rounds, If Braily starts falling short of his BE's ill upgrade to Macca or Mcinnes, thinking Macca. If Brailey hangs about, ill look at upgrading Cotric to more consistent scorer in the CTRs.

You would think from here on in Smith, Fifita, James, Surgess, Mannering, Norman, BJ, Croker and Turbo will be in this top 17. Expecting Macca to drop as Friend did last year, Fifita, James and Surgess to pick up and to score the odd try, Norman is averaging the second most of any half, aubo will end up around 42 average so I expect Croker and BJ to overtake him. Peachey should be around the 45 average.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Nofo, Teddy and Rapana stay, and for gutherson to start dropping off a little. Think Nofo will be the highest scoring wing/fullback this year.

Elgey is a dud. Meant to make him Jacks before Rd 1 but was drinking and mistook kick off time. 100k is supposed to be value of a trade at this stage and if you're going to waste trades on the likes of Frawley you'll run out in no time

Yeah, I rate the likelihood of Frawley getting more than one game less than 10% (bar injuries)

No worries. Thats the only downside about the popularity of this forum/enthusiasm of posters is you only have to be absent for a short time and catching up on the posts can be a marathon Wink

    Shocked

I thought this was the top 17 of your team for a minute there.
That just made me think my season has started shitter than I originally thought.

It is just the top 17 players of the league in one team, right?

Cheers for the nomination but I doubt I can live up to the others on this list.
If people want it then I would be  happy to do it, but I am really not that interesting haha.

I think 2012 was my first year on sportal but I didn't post much then.
So you could say I am new compared to a lot of names on here.

Sorry mate.  Koro has only scored in the 30's for the first 3 rounds and got 55 last week but included a try.  He has been playing around 60 minutes then Lewis Brown subs in, which is okay but his scores just aren't going to get any better, and don't reflect over 60 minutes on the field.  He likes to miss quite a few tackles too which hurts.  Upgrade to a gun or if you are stuck money wise you could take a punt on boom or bust type players like Keary, Martin or Moses, but they are just as much risk but have a higher ceiling. Taylor could be good for the price if the Titans can get going too, bu I wouldn't go there.

Who's trading Moga this week? Broncos haven't had an easy draw so far (cows, sharks, raiders, storm) so could be he may do better against 'easier' teams...

It's possible, he can bust a tackle or 2. I got a bit over his low scores and upgraded him this week to Leilua.

i really want to wait till he scores a try because he is "due". but he doesnt see the ball at all in attack, plus his b/e is now 24ish so he may have peaked.

personally ive kept talakai (15 b/e) over him, but only because of the b/e otherwise it would be a coin flip between the two

One poster interview per month would still be nine interviews in the remainder of the year.
I'm sure HS will probably pump them out at twice that rate, tbh so I'm sure we'll get loads of nominations and get to know a lot of posters, new and old... Rabs and Welshy seem to be the top picks at this stage which I think is pretty fair given their contributions/history/knowledge and love for the game and fantasy.

Peaked at rank 142 in round 2. Having a shocker since and sitting at 1,642. Have:

    Smith Brailey
    Fifita Wallace FKaufusi
    JDB WGraham BThompson Sironen
    Cleary Lamb Jacks
    SMata'utia Talakai
    Tedesco Slater RTS

Brought in Slater last week, Bodene this week.

Anyone care to contribute on direction? Facing trouble with Jacks and Brailey soon I think.

You were one of the first people put forward, mate.

I'm willing to interview anyone and everyone. Doesn't need to be funny all the time, the type of answers I get will dictate what the questions are anyway so I'd be quite happy to interview anyone.

I need someone to put their hand up for it though haha.
