Ive put the R on Sironen this week instead of Brailey. I figured the Sharks are probably going to win, maybe by quite a bit, so less defending for Brailey, especially because he isn't playing 80 now. I think Roosters/Manly will be a tough close game.

How do you get free stuff thrown in with your hotel? What are your experiences in Hoi An? Phuket?
I really just love getting free shit like complimentary massages, free cocktails etc haha.
not sure how much NRL I'm gonna be able to watch while over there unfortunately.
Standard's top travelling tip-take a small amount of a prohibited substance; you will get your accommodation for free.
Also, if you are worried about losing your luggage, place a small native animal in there, guaranteed to be reunited with your bags every single time.

We've got three nights in Hoi An and four nights in Da Nang. Both look great to me. Lots of awesome looking restaurants and bars + some quality beach times and hikes in the mountains.
Will check out Mr Xe. Cheers.
Can remember if it was hoi an or da nang but there was a local bar over the river that served free local rum until midnight, I don't remember much after that

Am I right in trading out KBromwich for CHN, rather than Yates?
I prefer KBrom in my 17, but I realised even if I don't trade him out this week he's going to be on the chopping block for an upgrade pretty soon. And Yates still has some cash to make, so might as well keep him and throw him into the 17 for a couple of weeks?
I'd be waiting till an hour before, and I know that's difficult for you in the Motherland. As soon as I traded CHN yesterday I thought fuck, what if he doesn't even play!

I read on Panthers forum yesterday some think JFH will start and now it's late mail on DT but they could easily just be copying fan forum speculation. Looking for any excuse not to burn 2 trades on CHN

I've gone cold on CHN, so no trades. Job security looks ordinary. KBrom to fire up against the panfers.

Cheers SI. Hopefully a little more late mail comes in over the next day.

I'm thinking of playing Musgrove over Brailey. Still not sure about Lamb either.

I got pulled aside by the Australia Federal Police, if what I assume was a random pull over.
However it was the year I went to two work conferences and three origin games, so the flights were for two days most of time so who knows.
The AFP guy goes to me "any drugs?"
Honeysett thinking light of the situation and not taking it seriously said "sure, what do you have?"
He looked at him dead in the eyes "this is not a fucking game"
From there I was quiet as a church mouse while they had a dog go through all my carry on. Shitting myself that I'd left something in a pocket of something.
I learned that day to not make jokes at inappropriate times.... for a couple days.

Funnily enough, Aussie customs are way lax compared to American customs. I pretty much guarantee you would've been pulled into an office for a full 2 hours minimum if you'd made that joke in the US.
Then NZ customs are that much more relaxed than Aussie customs, it's awesome.
Coming back from NZ last time, I had the funniest customs guy leaving the country. He pulled me up because I carry a snowboard tool which doubles as an all purpose multi-tool. Went through my entire bag and found some things we had a good laugh about.
You can see why he thought it was a meth pipe.

I'm pretty surprised Coote is back this week to be honest. Hopefully your AE shouldn't be too far off the mark anyway.

Even though Hess is on the bench for the Cowboys I still might buy him. I've read all the arguments & logic says don't buy him but Hess defies logic.

Has anyone else made only 3 or less trades so far? I've never been in this position before and it does feel strange

I'll most likely trade him out for lolo or a keeper in a few weeks

For those interested, Isaiah Papali'i is starting second-rower for the Warriors under 20s while Bunty Afoa is starting second rower in the NSW cup side.
