@Welshy I'll find something for you tomorrow. Not too stressed as i think both players did pretty well and it was a bit unlucky to lose.

    Okay lads, i need serious help. Im losing faith in this game and seriously want to quit. Only managed 731 and just inside the top 12000 for fucks sake. Heres my so called team;

    Smith Brailey
    Fifita Wallace Musgrove Yates
Surgess Hess Siro Bodene Kafusi Wintersrein
    Norman Lamb Jacks Elgey
    SMat Turbo Idris Kelly
    Rts Slater Cotric Suli Ponga

Didnt play cotric or Musgrove last week which didnt help along with the awful slater and bodene trades. Have 28 trades and 53k in the bank. The last two years have been so strong for me and i just don't know what i am doing wrong!

Elgey scoring 33 with two tries......... I had benched him but I still chuckled a bit when people were pulling a me and overreacting to leaving him out because I knew once the missed tackles started flowing in his score could end up being as low as 35. Obviously he found a way to go lower than that.

Gallen, Surgess and JGraham are starting to find some form, look like solid buys for the byes.

Farah injury provides a good out to those with Brailey. I'm tempted to go McInnes to Cook if Farah out long term and a cash cow forward to Gallen, Surgess or Graham or JDB or a cash cow back to Teddy.

Nathan Brown has become an interesting prospect if he continues to get big minutes.

Mannering, Ryan James, Merrin have become a worry.

Whitehead still a good buy this week.

Curtis Sironen is a w***** because he scores 19 when I have him, so I sell him and he gets a 57 and 46.

Dugan got his customary 2-4 week injury within the first 6 weeks of the season.

Dogs could have a new no.7 in Frawley but I doubt it. Mybe will be back.

Teddy continues to score very well without a try, is very scary not owning him.

Appears to only be 4-5 keepers in the front row this year, and Wallace may be worth holding on to. Scoring better than Ryan James at this stage.

    Elgey/Jacks - Frawley

Yates/Winterstein - Graham if you have enough cash, Graham is as consistent as they come.

Maybe look at bringing in players who play the bye rounds too.

OK first of all you have keepers of Smith, Fifita, Wallace, Surgess, Norman, Turbo, RTS and to a lesser extent Bodene, Smat and Slater. Depending on injuries I wouldn't consider trading these guys.
Cotric, Idris, Ponga, Lamb, Jacks, Musgrove are holds for now. Hopefully Yates is back too.

Depending on Farahs injury I would go Brailey to Damien Cook. If Frawley plays maybe downgrade Elgey. Kelly has peaked and will start to lose cash if he doesn't keep scoring tries. Suli got no attacking ball because Brooks wasn't playing, Tigers were very one dimensional all game going right to Moses. Would hold Suli over Kelly.

    Next week upgrade/downgrade Kaufusi/Winterstein/Yates

Im holding off BJ for now, he scored what, 25 despite getting a try? Look what happened to those that jumped on Whitehead + Bodene a week early.

Somebody said he was on 25 points when he got his try, floated between 23-26 points for the rest of the game, or something to that effect.

Not showing the form fantasy wise as last year but BJ is the type of player to string 3 50+ games together and he doesn't need tries to score big with his TB and offloading ability

Honestly, there's not a lot too wrong with your team mate.

I'd maybe look at adding one more gun (preferably a Rd 12 player e.g. Gallen, Macca, BHunt, ARey, SJ, Manners) to your team but what's your $$ situation like?

Edit: Just read your post properly....$53k - looks like you'll have to do 2 trades, a downgrade and an upgrade

Oh wow Sione got an extra 2 points to take him to 39 points in 33 minutes. Damn this guy would be a gun if he wasn't so concussion prone

The potential for a display error is there, since CHN now occupies the spot that Yates once held, but I still don't understand why Yates wouldn't be shown outside the 17 with one of those white space/no player selected notifications.

Hope u took screenies Mr Robot !

The challenge is to reel it in as best u can mate, check how many points u are off the actual leader which can cast a clearer light on it for you. Don't throw it in, that's very soft ! Keep swinging dude.

Well he has played 5 games, scored 50 once. Take out that 50 he is averaging 27. I agree he can definitely score big and TB's are base stats to him, but 5 rounds in it hasn't really happened yet. It's like people think they are going to buy a player and he will magically start scoring 50 every week. It's definitely possible, no doubt there, but it just hasn't happened yet that's all.

FWIW: I'm the type of player that plays more conservatively and holds off trades until the player has definitely found form both in game and fantasy.

I wouldn't be jumping on Whitehead, JBrom, Bodene or BJ yet. In two to three weeks time I may be able to go from Cotric to BJ in 1 trade, Kaufusi to JBrom in 1 trade etc. No need to spend 50-100K on that yet.

Like you say mate it's 5 rounds, in the grand scheme it's nothing, especially with an outside back who relies on attacking points for his scoring which is always going to fluctuate, I'd back BJ to return to 40+average this season no problem
