Unless Cleary signs this week, pretty much every Tigers player is a trade. (And even if Cleary signs today, I wouldn't expect miracles)

They have obviously written the year off, and us Tigers fan can only hope they get themselves in some sort of order in time for kick off next year.

He didn't play solely at Hooker those games...

When he plays 80 mins at Hooker, he's close to a gun

    That's a solid score!

One of my work mates scored 893 (38th for the round)
I'm glad he wasn't my H2H opponent this week, I would have lost my number 1 spot in our work league

Does anybody else think Slater is a great player but a terrible fantasy player? He seems to be making plays on the field but not really acknowledged by fantasy.

The question you should be asking is who provides better value & job security at his price point? The answer is nobody really

Yes he's one of those players like Foran where his real life game doesn't necessarily translate to fantasy.

If he gets the gig then all Brailey owners have been handed a get out of jail card, swings and turns of this damn game.

    Smith, McInnes
    Fifita, Faufusi, Ese'ese, IPapali'i
Surgess, Whitehead, BThompson, Hess, Yates, CHN
    Johnson, Lamb, Elgey, Field
    Talakai, Moga, Suli, MCK
    Tedesco, RTS, Hayne, Cotric, RJennings

    Squad looks good.

Unfortunately: Whitehead, Thompson, Hayne, Yates... not the only one facing those conundrums though, I am certain.

This week: Whitehead back, BT hopefully score more than 20, Yates hopefully doesn't pull out last minute and would be nice to see Hayne back soon.

No hurry to make any trades this round depending on TLT.

I'd be pretty tempted to trade out Smith for Cook and get Smith back post-origin.
Would lose points but gaining that much $$$ over the few weeks would be hard to turn down.

Yes that is the case but if you have double gun hookers of Smith and McInnes I would seriously consider banking the approx. $250K for the same scores and buying Cook. Ride Cook back up to McInnes for a trade back before round 13. Cook plays round 12 but not 13. McInnes doesn't play round 12 but does play 13,14,15,16 and 17.

If Farah is out for 6 weeks I will probably do this, bank 250K from the trade, similar scores for 6 weeks and Cook could make $150k in that time hitting 50-60s. McInnes could lose 50K

Allows me to get rid of Tyronne Roberts Davis (poor trade in) to get Rapana who is on fire. Is on par with Teddy and Nofo and plays round 12.

Any advice for this team? First year playing, seem to be struggling...

    Smith, (Brailey)
    JWH, Kaufusi, (Hoare, Yates)
ET, Sione, S.Burgess, (S.Stone, Winterstein, Simpkins)
    Cleary, R.Jacks, (Elgey, J.Field)
    M.Jennings, D.Fusitua, (Kelly, Cotric)
    Teddy, RTS, Slater (Hayne, Uate)
$339k in bank to play with, 26 trades.

My plan is to go Fusitua for Idris (not sure who to trade in here but I think Fusitua has to go, given him a fair shake), and Brailey to Cook if that looks good. This leaves me sitting on almost half a mil.

I don't want to miss out on the Frawley trade if he is named though.
Next couple weeks trades was looking at going:
Kaufasi, Yates, Winterstein, Elgey ------> J.Brom, Whitehead, Bodene, Norman/SJ

    Thoughts/advice?

Seems like a lot of gameplanning around trading in Cook when we don't even know what the deal is with Wobbie yet.

Same here... all depending on the extent of Farah's absence....
If he avg around 55 he'll make 170k by round 12 (200k by round 14/15)

In other news, TBO has been relatively quiet for the last two weeks.
Its no coincidence that this has probably been since his team has dropped from 300 or so to around 1200th, with back to back scores around or under 750.
Also no coincidence that talking up Hoare over Hess leading into round 3 was one of his latest posts. Hope he comes back and is open to others advice.
Lots of good fantasy players on here. Just a reminder to all its a marathon not a sprint.
Stick at it and plan for byes if you are sitting around 5000th. There is still time and half the game is luck dodging injuries.

On a side note... Widdop had a great game yesterday... his fantasy score of 54 doesn't reflect the amount of impact he had on the game.
