Ive been on the piss all weekend and have come back to see Jordan Mclean in the aus squad photo?
Now, if its even in a 18th man role.... what the fark is going on????

Why is this guy wearing the australian jersey????

    Pieman does not understand.

I agree. Surely someone like Ryan James is ahead of him in the list of guys next cab of the rank. Or James Tamou or Josh McGuire.

Yeah its surprising Tamou isn't there at all let alone with these injuries.

Merrin still made it comfortably somehow

They are their own worst enemy with city country. It could be the biggest event in NSW besides the GF and origin if they did it right. Fucking pathetic what they did to it.

The season needs to be shortened.
The rep stuff needs to happen at the end of the year (including origin), that way clubs will be less likely to interfere with their players being selected.

Would fucking love to see a genuine trial for the NSW team as a marquee event. City/Country format needs to go but a possibles/prob format or something along those lines could work if its a genuine trial.

Off the top of my head - Front rowers, or guys who can play front row who should be there over Mclean:
    Napa
    Prior
    Gallen
    Finucane
    Vaughn
    De Bellin
    Wallace
    James
    B. Lawrence
    Tolman
    Bolton
    Mannah
    RCG
    Tamou
    McGuire

Decent crowd but gee, I was struggling to explain to my Daughter how Tests used to be something to really look forward to. I still do, but it's just not the same. Mind you, they are no longer "tours" I guess.
