That was me. Rabbit replied he was making his comeback this weekend, but he didn't, he is still on walkabout. Maybe an SOS will need to be sent out this week for himFinch wrote:Thanks ks MS for the calcs.
I was one of the people who thought Hampton was going to be a dud. I thought he was going to score 20-25, so got double what I thought he was going to get. Probably too late to get on him now, but who knows with this JT injury now.
Talking of JT, who will they replace him with if he is out of course? Also surely if JT is out then that affects big JT, and probably Hess too?
Wasn't somebody talking about Ray Thompson earlier in the week but nobody knows where he is?

Upgraded to 624 with S. Mannering, P. Gallen, F. Kafusi, S. Johnson, C. Norman, C. Gutherson and R. Tuivasa Sheck to play. Hopefully I can stay in touch with the top.
Also thinking of bringing in Frawley next week along with Jesse Bromwich. Depending on his injury and Kafusi's score today.
Slater and Hayne are other good options.

What's everyone thoughts on Merrin? Is he a trade out? I'm sussing out Bodene this week and plan to bring in Bodene for Merrin and Whitehead for ET. To me it seems pretty sideways, but the free up in money would be nice to bump up Jacks to a flashy new keeper.

Welcome to the forum mate. As someone who bought in Podene last week, I'd wait a week or two still on him. Obviously today will tell us if he is okay to a degree, but word seems to be he may struggle with his Achilles for a bit.

Kudos for sticking with him for so long but I would sell.

Haven't had a chance to go back through the thread but has there been any update on Thurston's injury? Looks like I will be trading him to bye friendly Cody Walker sooner then planned.
I wonder if they would play Coote and Morgan in the halves and keep Ponga at FB?

Every Ponga owner is hoping this is the case and every non-Ponga owner is hoping not!

Well I hope he scores 100+ .. however I would be pleased with anything over 40.

He has a super weird team and even weirder is his selections, Eitken NPR GGM (r) over Ponga. Im assuming he traded Hampton in this week but why not for Brailey?

I'd personally like to put him through a table or if you're familiar with Pro Wrestling, you know when they open a steel chair then put the opponents lower leg into the chair then close it up and then stomp on the chair? Yeah, that. That's what I want to do to Merrin.

So this weekend has brought up many trade options for the next round.
From cash cows to mid rangers becoming solid scorers to under priced guns.
Some are traps, however some will have more upside than others and could be good scorers.
Which two would you prioritise from this list,
Cook
CHN
McIlwrick
Hodgson
Hampton
Crichton
James
Whitehead
J.Brom
Bodene
Lawton
Leilua
Idris
Frawley
Edwards
Ponga
Or any others I missed

I question the scoring stats ...it seems fanhub scorers make it up as they go along
Mosby last night was on 10, he made a break of about 20 metres and beat two defenders and his score went up to 27, 17 points for that is misleading, was lucky to get 15 points for the entire game in my books

With the way Rapana has been scoring the last couple of weeks is he now a better pick than McCullough & McInnes.

Hampton and Crichton but since I've got my hookers set I'll be going Crichton and Frawley or I might go Hampton/Frowley and piss off Elgey and Jacks

I would also prioritize going for round 12 players. The 2 exceptions are CHN & Ponga who will be excellent cash cows with an extended run of games but they have risk of not getting such games. From that list I would go for Cook, CHN, Hodgson, Crichton, Whitehead, Leilua, Frawley & Ponga.
