    Alright then I stand corrected.

I just assumed Graham was more expensive because he generally is on a week-week basis.

    Thumbs up!

This was starting prices I assume mate? I remember Grham being around 50k more expensive after a month or 2. Reason I was asking the original question was because Welshy and I found ourselves working through Tolman/Graham this time last year. I went Graham and loved it, but this year I am definitely considering Tolman as per Showbags reasoning.

My issue originally was Graham would be a keeper, Tolman maybe a keeper. But I'm kidding myself, any bloke averaging 45/50 in my 18 now will be in my 18 at the end.

Really leaning towards Tolman next week.

    Boyd/Klemmer
    Fifita

Vaughan/Paulo with get time around the team but Daley doesnt like bringing in new guys until theyve played well over 2 origin periods and theyve been 18man a bit to get used to the team. I could see Tamou losing his spot to Boyd and Klemmer taking Boyds bench spot. Klemmer has been out of form this year and will be lucky to hold his spot.

This is close to how they will actually line up but there is a bit of deadwood there that needs to be moved on

Seems to come up every year where they are bye round targets and Tolman is that 50 to 100k cheaper. I have never taken the Tolmam option but am considering it this year. He should get his customary bump in points when the Dogs pack is depleted and some good early signs allready.

Thing is though, Graham would be a keeper, Tolman may or may not be.

The way I see it, there is a reason Graham is always more expensive than Tolman at the start of the year. Graham just has that extra 10% extra points in him.

Thing is Tolman normally grabs an extra 10 to 20 % through Origin, and he is a byes target for me. Allthough Milchy's spreadsheet might discredit this theory?

With Frawley's inclusion both Graham and Tolman seem to be getting the extra minutes. Now with Klemmer out, they are likely to step it up another notch.
I've had Graham from the start and have been enjoying his increased minutes the last 2 games bounce

OK have decided to be a bit PODdy (negligent?) with my trades this week. Sitting at 2642.

    SMat out for BJ
    Thurston out for A-Rey

Wanted to keep Thurston, and trade out Jacks for Frawley, but will only reverse the trade if Frawley starts. Otherwise he is too punty for the 17. Ditto for Hampton. Was keen on Kodi, but will give him a week to prove himself (yay high BE).

I know A-Rey looks likely for Origin, but no one else passed the aesthetics test next to DCE, except for SJ but there's no way I can justify paying more than 100 grand for that upgrade. Like the look of Norman but he just doesn't sit right next to DCE. Norman would look good next to SJ, but that's another kettle of fish...

So that leaves me with 24 trades, 74k in the bank, and:

    (C)Smith, Brailley
    JWH, Wallace, FKafusi (Klemmer)
McGuire, KBrom, Sironen, Taylor, Hess (CHN)
    A-Rey, DCE (Jacks, Hingano)
    BJ, TTurbo (Idris, Moga)
    RTS, Slater, Ponga (Cotric, Abbey)

After going light in the forwards and heavy in the halves to start the year, figure I might as well stick with it for now...

    Some late mail;

    http://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/nrl-team-lists-round-7-news-late-mail-lineup-ins-and-outs-latest-featuring-wackos-whispers/news-story/62765e1db2ffcdd94a46e20f1fa20149

Looks like Frawley on the bench again. I will still punt and bring him in.

I hadn't considered the change to the bench make up, good point. Augers well going forward unless Frawley does start at 7 soon.

only chn has made 100k for me this year. shabby, burns, lamb have been no good so far. slater is on his way.

i was a bit worried about wasting three trades but the thing is the starting team has done well and made about 800k (minus chn+slater)
so that sort of negates a chunk of money needed to reach the 9.5 to 10mil mark by around week 20-26. currently sitting on 8mil teamworth,
i still need about 1.5-2mil from the 25 remaining trades.

ill reserve 8 for injuries/origin (17 left) and average the overall team worth target to 1.75m (9.75 total) required. still means every trade should be worth around 100k at this point (103k)

Bugger. 4k short of upgrading Leota to Whitehead instead of Yates via Kelly cashout.

Jacks to Frawley not enough either and already have Hampton.

Looking at Uate now valued at 285k, must be some kind of mistake, but his BE is still low.. so Yates might aswell go this week.. Don't think I'll miss out on a huge amount of value since he's due to be upgraded/downgraded next week anyway.

I just don't think I can trade Frawley in unless he will start.

Even with the unknowns re origin, I'm warming to the idea of bringing in A Reynolds for Lamb this week.

is everyone making 2 trade plans today dependent on Frawley? Still holding out hope he starts, in which case my trades will be forced to change

    Frawley bench
    Guths to Crichton
    Yates to Tolman

    Frawley Starts
    Lamb to Frawley
    Guths to Crichton
