I'm keeping the Guth only because I'm choosing to believe Moses will suck it up and finish his contract at the Tigers like a real man should.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 31
My team scored over 900 last week including Gutherson's 17 points so I'm tempted to play it again & save 2 trades. There's uncertainty with Frawley (could just be a bench player), Hampton (could be a bit trappish), Crichton (will he play 80 mins & the bench playing 10-20 mins to accomodate Crichton plus I don't want too many Souths players). It could mean losing my h2h games & my team could be lucky to score 800 but down the line the 2 saved trades could be more valuable.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 31
I'd be holding Guth for at least a couple of weeks. He was averaging like 32-35 last year on the wing?
The Gordon midgame injury and other injuries/suspensions (Corey Norman for one) that lead to him playing FB and CTR at different times gave him a bit of a boost.
Many of us viewed him as a potential keeper if he locked down the FB role. Without much data on how he will actually go there full-time, I'd wanna see a few scores first.
Guth and Norman are probably the only 2 Eels players worth having for the byes I think. Hopefully Brown and Kaysa too for whoever's taking the punt.

No one talking about Adam Elliot? Klemmer injured for two to three weeks according to Josh Jackson. He will be starting those games it seems and plays the two major byes with both Jackson and Klemmer going to Origin. Surely a must have?

He may start yet. And he doesn't need to play 60 to score 50 points. I'm confident he'll score at least 40, no matter what minutes he plays. His base stats are fantastic.

I had picked him from the start as a nuffie filler. Has turned out well when he gets the minutes. Seems to have a good wrap from teammates and a good link with Frawley (ex-roomies according to nrl.com).
Not expecting massive things, but hoping I can hold him to cover the origin period when Klemmer goes.

Friend of mine was tossing up between upgrading A. Elliot or red dot Papalii to Whitehead last week.. Decided to dump A. Elliot for the extra cash and to keep DPPs from being locked in FR.. Regretting it after Klemmer's injury.
That's why I don't want to talk about Adam Elliot anyway..

For SC. Can't decide between Brailey > Macca or Hodgson. Or Elgey > Milf. Already have SJ and Norman in the 17. Mazza would be a lock in the 17 but would have to choose Norman/Milf. Have Wallace, Kaufisi, Kbrom and RTS as my 4 reserves. Thoughts gents

This tweaked my interest mate, as I though Klemmer was 1 week. Like you say, Jackson quoted as saying 2-3 weeks, which makes him potentially viable, and that article was printed today on NRL.com so probably the latest update.
Anyone know of any other updates in the last few days? I can't find much.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 31
Trades for the week done.
I think I am at the stage now, where I can push a consistent base score of 850 to 900 until Round 12, and got 11 players for that round already.
Brought Tolman & Whitehead in for Wallace and Yates which increased that from 9 this week.
Thinking I can hold off on trading for a bit with the exception of looking at some halves or centre up/down grades to sweeten round 12 a bit, if something really good jumps out.
Anyone keen on giving an outsiders perspective?
Smith Pritchard
Vaughan Tolman Brown (Hoare)
Surgess De Belin Whitehead Harawira-Naera Sironen (May)
Norman Lamb (Frawley Jacks)
Sata'uita Walker (Kelly Talakai)
Tuivasa-Scheck Holmes Cotric (Hayne Suli)
Ok in the bank for now

Cheers mate, so week to week makes me think I will revisit him before Origin.

Doesn't seem like there is enough upside, given the information we have so far, although if it could be sure of playing the next 3 weeks and origin could be a good option for getting rid of Hoare.

any news of Broncos 19? Was really keen to see if their young big half that was included in the 21 is there for development and backup or a sneaky inclusion. Impacts Kodi hopefully more than Macca but all interrelated and just the fact he is 138k at HLF Murphy, would open up all sorts of trade options in sure noones dabbled with

No easy way to bring in Crichton, who's one of the top trade targets this week.
I'd consider bringing in Wardle for Brian Kelly.
And with Munster's imminent return perhaps downgrade Jacks. Take a punt on Frawley/Hampton/KNiko
Probably need to start finding cash soon for upgrades
Lamb and Winterstein out of Sash's team for Crichton and Frawley with some money in the bank?
I know Winterstein off a big score. Just a matter of how despearate to make the Crichton move

Storm should be updating to their 19 man squad at the same time we get the Frawley news, so keep an eye out for any Jacks/Munster/JBrom updates.
Wondering what the chances are of Munster playing CTR over Onomatopoeia this week with Chambers suspended..

Yup!! If Munster back that makes a Jacks - someone trade much easier
